no its not, it was only because of covid

thats what play-ins is for, the lower regions fight it out there and get to play other lower regions. meaning less stomps + higher competition for the main event (top 16) If you dont give reigons enough spots they will eventually lose interest in the game. and also thats what global LAN is here for. to see everyone play everyone not only the top 4 regions

yeah but at the same time its not enough, if u have 16 teams your 24 champions teams will be completly f'ed up, some random team would have a lucky run and place over other teams that consistently made like 3rd place in their region but didnt make it to a LAN

this would make every masters a little bit different and make it interesting.
