you can choose only one region and you have to use the top 10 teams from the ranking tab ( or change a team that u feel shouldnt belong there if u want)
Tiers: S A B C D and it can only be the sentinel for the team if they have one, because im not sure if teams like FaZe even use one.

this is exactly what i was thinking. if a team like v1 or c9 dont make closed in the first wave of challenger qualifiers then they just wont make it in the second one because its only 4 spots. c9 have to go against a current top 4 team geng and v1 against faze who are arguably second na in the first qualifier which seems really tough
