Highly disagree. While sports have a wide array of popular and fun-to-watch branches, esports most popular games tend to be Mobas and FPS games. Along with this, technology with processing power for games like Valorant is not worldwide yet. Many people also find watching esports unfun, To be honest, esports is a very niche internet-only thing. With the argument of baseball and football being like this, I'm unsure what you mean, baseball has been a fostering sport since the 1800s and was nearly worldwide by the 1920s, With soccer, even had an international tournament established in the early 19th century establishing it worldwide. Sure maybe in 75 or so years we could see esports get close, but I am not sure about 10-15 years, the accessibility and interest are too low.
