Have you seen the number of fans around teams like 100t sentinels and NRG (previously optic). Look I'm sorry to upset you but nobody roots for LOUD and Levitan, they don't even get a full stadium in their own country. Imagine we wasted the money and resources to give them more teams. Keep your fantasy in your head.

Because Asuna sucks ass? Think about it bro, this game is like 75% gunplay Asuna has the inability to shoot his gun and use his util. He is all brawn no brain but he doesn't have the brawn either.

Both 1 team regions, Imagine we gave them 8 teams, a waste of resources.

I don't feel bad for the fraudster. Maybe if he took a shower I could muster up some sympathy.

TenZ > Asuna + Cryo
Lets hope Tenz can get a average of 12 kills to prove me right.

These guys are not even close to the best, the best has got to be NRG. NA is just not doing great in this tournament.

30 in total or one game? One game is probably not possible for this fraud.

This guy is intelligent!

I wish ZETA was in this shitcan bracket, would've proven these fraud teams (100T, Sentinels, Fnatic) what real Valorant looks like. Too bad they got placed with a top 3 team in the entire world.

Always has been, he probably only plays well in his grease dungeon (his home) aka when he's online.

What is this bro, this team can't win so long as they have the biggest fraud (Asuna) on their team.

posted about a year ago

NRG is the best. 100T has a bunch of frauds on their team. Bang is their only consistently good player.

Asuna is so greasy. Can't imagine how he smells. 🤢🤮

Agreed, under 20 you're okay. Anything older and you might aswell give it up, and showing it to your kids? You're just telling them you're a loser.

posted about a year ago

Agreed, If you're 30 years old and showing your kids esports your definitely just a loser. Definitely not a majority.

I could see it happening, I just personally don't think it's likely. It's already a very niche part of the internet.

It's nothing to do with race. It's to do with basic sportsmanship, which from what I've seen from twitter, vlr, and this game today, brazil seems to lack.

Missed my other point of 'interest'. It's a combination of both. Sure if everyone wanted to watch esports all we have to do is spread technology and advertisements. That's the problem though, watching esports is a niche, more niche than playing them. The reason sports are so popular is that from childhood most people are raised around them. I for one was put into soccer as a kid, and that's not going to change because video games don't give the health benefits that real sports do. I do think its possible for in 50-75 years to reach the view count and salary of sports player but for now we need some sort of revolutionary videogame or piece of technology to have it be possible for it to overtake sports in 10 years.

Highly disagree. While sports have a wide array of popular and fun-to-watch branches, esports most popular games tend to be Mobas and FPS games. Along with this, technology with processing power for games like Valorant is not worldwide yet. Many people also find watching esports unfun, To be honest, esports is a very niche internet-only thing. With the argument of baseball and football being like this, I'm unsure what you mean, baseball has been a fostering sport since the 1800s and was nearly worldwide by the 1920s, With soccer, even had an international tournament established in the early 19th century establishing it worldwide. Sure maybe in 75 or so years we could see esports get close, but I am not sure about 10-15 years, the accessibility and interest are too low.

Sorry, I should've reiterated this for you. I'm not sure if you're from America or speak English primarily, but we widely use the oxford definition in relation to words we use. For reference, I will now present you with the oxford definition of sport: an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment. Hopefully this clears up my argument for you.

Im not sure if you are mentally prepared for this answer however, esports will never make it to be like a sport. However there is not an indication that esports will go bankrupt in 5 years, video games are steadily gaining interest in mainstream media and thus sponsorships rates are higher. Do I think it will ever get to the economic and worldwide strength of sports? No. Will it go away in 5 years, No. My point still stands, hold tournaments in places with respectful people not a slum of a place like brazil.

posted about a year ago

This isn't a sport. This is Valorant an online 5v5 game. Career safety and money from games are way lower. Stakes are higher for the team to perform, thus the mental stress is higher, when you have the tournament held in a proper 1st world country where everyone is taught respect it helps the players with their mental.

cs 1.6 = basically a mobile game

I do think this has some correlation and I do agree this is a very big problem in my country. That being said I don't want to talk politics on this site.

If you give a mouse a cookie, he's going to ask for a glass of milk. When you give him the milk, he'll probably ask you for a straw. When he's finished, he'll ask you for a napkin. If you give a Brazilian attention, he's going to ask for respect. When you give him respect, he'll probably ask you for your favorite team. When he's finished, he'll tell you how shit your region is.

I'd expect it, they're around guns in and out of the game!

They won't.

What players are from MENA? Seems like a useless region, just like giving India a team, they may have a lot of people in their country but it doesn't mean they're going to be talented. We want better competition, not filler games.

posted about a year ago

Sorry I meant, homicides.

posted about a year ago

What the fuck is MENA. How about we wait until EMEA gets more recent wins to give them more slots?

posted about a year ago

I hate screaming brutes. Sit down and watch the game, no need to be insufferable. Especially when they start to scream at the opposing team.

It seems like I've made some people angry with my comments. I'm not sorry, I live in the land of the free, home of the brave. Despite having 64 percent less people in brazil than America, they have 3.53x more deaths per year. Sit on that statistic and call our country violent. Fix yourself you third-world brutes.

posted about a year ago

Agreed, acting like children. Bound to happen in a 3rd world country such as Brazil should've hosted in beautiful America.

He doesn't get impactful kills or first blood on attacking rounds. Against faze, he had 8 kills in 3 maps. IF HE IS GOING TO PLAY A JETT OR CHAMBER HE NEEDS TO EITHER GET FIRST BLOOD OR FRAG OUT. He does not create space.
