This is a trial scrim, they don't have synergy or really know each other so obviously they wont have much energy, also no one on that team even had energy to begin with. cons:

• Hard for new talent to get picked up
• Hard for teams to qualify to it
• If a team does qualify they get kicked after 1 year depending on where they place
• some teams will only play a max of 12 games, not enough time to fully adapt to certain things
• if you are a shitty team that got chosen when franchsing first started you will always be there
• dying of tier 2 valorant, death of other tiers
• promotes bad financial decisions

100% agree, I wasn't watching pre franchising but I still remember seeing games constantly being played, now some teams only play 10 games a year which is just bad.

This will also help the Valorant scene grow because more chances to qualify for lans --> --> more games being played --> more investors/sponsors --> more playing grinding to go pro --> more streamers --> more popularity --> more people playing --> and most importantly more people buying skins

tbh for champions I think a 32 team event would be even better
