prediction btw
how bad is it to leave out all chinese players from top 11? i feel like most people only had KK and chichoo in their top 10s from the entire CN region in past events, but maybe these 3 have ppl im sleeping on?
i might be dickriding GENG a bit too hard, also i think aspas will underperform as he gets comfortable with the skilled players on his team instead of b0ts like c0m
emea third seed at #2 lol
ts split attack side calling is worse than platinum elo text chat igls
g2 mibr was really fun
no one gaf 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
hes always top 2 performers in his team series-wise and carried the kickoff finals lol
first round was timing
second round benjy hit a ns
third round zywooph gets 2
cyvoophs aim makes me bounce up and down in my seat
acting like they playing all 12 months lol
the manga is peak, elements of the major arcana and infinite layers of meaning are hidden behind every dialogue bubble
but i can't answer your question because i never watched the anime
LOUD, DFM, Zeta way too low. how is "GiantX" better than any of these?
kuronami has more flicky aimers than prelude
i wonder if comparing map wins makes the ranking look different
chill they hit top 6 in the world while not looking at their fullest potential. this liquid squad can take names with time to look their best
theyll even afford to sign me after they win champs
buzz over jawg and hyunmin
buzz was playing like buns
what about T1 looked good bro
meteor is playing deathmatch and carpe doesnt have hands
why would we start hating on the winners of masters bangkok
s0m is still a top 2 controller in americas depending on bang stocks
winner plays a bo5 vs sen as a qualification match
saadhak only did that so LOUD could run double duelist and play aspas jett
trophy > multiple top 2s
everyone who is sane would pick winning madrid over getting 2nd everywhere they can
8/8 i raged when i saw it
idk wouldve rather made it to grand finals champs and grand finals shanghai than just win their region twice
maybe im underrating regional perfs but regionals have significantly weaker teams than internationals so
sadge th :(
im biased but th were 100% the best emea team this year
especially considering they had rookies vs experienced fnatic frogs, they went crazy
def an argument for lev over th though i see it
5th with an international title? i'd rather have sen's year than lev's year for sure, there's a reason i had the 3 trophy winners in top 3
regarding prx, they seemed to very interestingly a team that got WORSE throughout the season so i see your point
(2nd kickoff -> 3rd madrid -> 1st stage 1 -> 6th shanghai -> 3rd stage 2 -> 12th seoul)
1 - GenG
they were easily the most consistent team in a year where so many different teams made top 4 - top 6 at each international, they also won their own region twice and made every grand final other than champs
2 - Edward Gaming
I would rather have the champs trophy after a really shitty year internationally than a masters title and a 4th place finish. There would be a huge argument for Sentinels here if they didn't have such a midseason slump. Even though EDG won their region 3 times, it doesn't have as much weight as an americas / emea / apac doing the same because the other chinese teams are undeniably weaker in comparison
3 - Sentinels
Kickoff winners, madrid winners, 4th place champs with a huge upset against GenG, best americas team this year. definitely have to talent to pick up another title next year.
4 - Team Heretics
2nd place kickoff, 8th at madrid, 2nd at stage 1, 2nd in Shanghai, 3rd at stage 2, and 2nd in seoul. they came close to the trophy so many times and didn't win a single one, but damn if they are not a team to look out for next season.
--- MASSIVE GAP ---
5 - Paper Rex? Leviatan? Fnatic?
Paper Rex uniquely made it to all 3 international events, a feat that only them, EDG, FPX, TH, and GENG have. although they've had ups and downs, they also won their region and came away with a 4th and a 6th internationally.
Leviatan has the highest champs placement out of those not listed yet, with a 3rd place. They looked insane, only getting better throughout the year, and they won their region stage 2 against a highly rated G2, also coming away with a stage 1 runner up.
Fnatic won their region twice, though they had poor international showings for a team that won two trophies last year. They're a lock for 2nd best EMEA team, but how much does that really do for them?
what do we think for top 5? anyone i forgot?
wow what a great opinion, we should kiss
lakia played like that for ~3 series total this year
if you replace lakia with boaster on geng then they lose to DRG at shanghai
love to see this guy succeed ever since shanghai on tariks stream, super W of him to support heretics even when hes not playing
go miniboo!!!!!!!!
i wanted to explain what would happen regarding TH if GenG won. it goes without saying that GenG qualifies even if they lose to TH
thank hiko for these takes he whispered in my ear while i was trying to sleep
they really aren't good enough to get top 4 at this event but they're lucky KRU and BLG are fodder. maybe FNC 2-1 KRU in decider. if BLG upset KRU then BLG will get 2-0'd by FNC anyway
