tbf 100T ascent looked pretty roughshod last year. Not agreeing with map picks but I understand the choices to some degree.

see #7. You must have 2 wins to advance to playoffs. If noone else in omega wins twice, then any slots not filled will be passed to the 4th seed of alpha.

Six teams go to playoffs. If there are not three teams from omega with more than two wins, any slots not filled by omega teams will go to alpha teams. As such, if 100T and Lev continue to be the only winning teams in that group, alpha will sensibly have four slots to playoffs. Its a weird format but mostly just because they have 11 teams in each league, so its going to be messy.

i find his playstyle is unrewarded by vlr's rating system and general stat checks. He's always had strong setup util, on Sen V Lev lotus his fade was involved in a large majority of initial fights and important impact kills

A WHOLE YEAR WITHOUT ANYONE BEATING A NO FLASH COMP ON GOD WHAT WAS EMEA DOING

As much as I like to bash on EMEA the truth is the kid was a demon in T2 on a fairly unstructured team. If he ended up on NRG he'd be performing just as well. Kudos to Enghh for absolutely cooking this team of rookies together though, marteen really shined as well.

They've been really punished for their macro game and econ management. The general skill ceiling has certainly been raised this kick-off, and mistakes in buy rounds and forcing too often seems to let other teams run away with it. That being said, they've had some nice calls and all the players have had their moments. If they tighten up a bit I could see them doing much better.

Definitely a team with a very high ceiling and some serious lows. They looked great last time they played but today was something else.

Big fan. Think they could have a very high ceiling with Engh.

It was pretty impressive, both teams look competitive. A lot of depth in americas this year it appears

Its tough. He's obviously an excellent player, but seems to really struggle in high pressure games. He was top 2 in Americas regular season (behind only aspas, but flexing to many more agents and averaging higher ACS), but drops to top 7 with playoffs including (placing bottom 6 in playoffs per individual stats). In LCQ he was also fairly absent. I hope he can retain his 2023 regular season form.

Big part people underestimate is the ability to make plays through smokes. No flash comps have historically lost out when teams lock them out of consistent chokepoints (Ex. fnc comp on lotus being picked apart by proper antistratting).

is bob based out of OCE or is she in NA? ping is nuts my aus friends end up on 200

posted about a year ago

Yep. If you have dual citizenship you "declare" what league you play in domestically the first time you play a VCT official, given that Russ never played a VCT official he could declare APAC as his home league. Jawg has already played a season in Americas without import status, so he's officially an Americas player and would be an APAC import.

Ah I gotcha, the "dont give a shit" gave off a negative tone. I typically expect negativity on this site, thats my bad. I would be very excited to watch a sen NRG 100T MXS event, especially if some international teams were also included.

Raze movement is very unique to a tac shooter like valorant, where most of the existing pros primary experience is with CS. While jett movement can get very creative (i.e. something pre updraft nerf, aspas) it is generally sufficient to use the dash in one of two interactions, either entrying or as a proactive peeking tool. With raze, you must consider more regarding your flight path on entrying, as oftentimes you get deeper into a site. Additionally, while nearly all pros are familiar with the air strafing required in tac shooters like val and cs, applying them to a long distance movement is a different story.
