That's how you know he's one of the best players of all time, because people would rather choose him over a guy who has won an international event
PRX are playing the standard Ascent comp, it's over
What I saw on Ascent was pure strats and great mid rounding though
They just need to play more normal comps / comps that make sense, and watch them cook
What's funny is that he wasn't even ass lmao he actually played well for a first game on an agent
He did some good stuff like mollying the market door to prevent TE from flooding, lurking to catch them off guard (few whiffs here and there, unlucky), and patiently waiting for any pushes with his turret watching main. For a start I'd say he did well
No cap he's actually the best player on the team
He's always consistent with his entries regardless of whether he gets kills or not, and is a solid team player
Well, play comps with interesting combos and shit if you really wanna play weird stuff, not comps with massive holes for the other team to exploit going into round 4

They must, and I say MUST, fix their comps and stop overcooking with shit agents like Sage and Deadlock, or solo Skye on a map like Abyss where your enemies can be anywhere. The moment they do that is the moment they come back to 2023 form and start rolling even good teams like they used to
Idk about you but something doesn't look that bad on Sova and neither does Jinggg on Deadlock, they just have to fix their shit ass comps man, like I swear wtf is that Abyss comp?
Getting bodied is an exaggeration lmao, I don't think you understand how good NS are going to be, especially in this Neon meta, Dambi is gonna run circles around PRX. As for DFM, we already saw them 2-0 PRX so that says enough about their capabilities
What I wanted to say was, TLN can 'contest' PRX but the likelihood of them actually beating PRX is low.
Regardless, PRX are so much weaker now compared to even last season which wasn't a great one for them, so expect more teams to hold a candle and even defeat them in Pacific
Can't wait for Smartest_Fan to start glazing the living hell out of TL just for them to finish bottom 3 next season
I don't think the narrative that "they make internationals cuz competition in Pacific is shit" is gonna work in 2025 if I'm being honest, cuz we already have DFM, GEN, T1, NS and even TLN to contest PRX
If anything PRX might just scrape by to Champs as the 4th seed and just bomb out 0-2 or manage to somehow win a game and go 1-2 in groups

Surely if he can play Deadlock well, he can play the better sentinels like Killjoy and Cypher well, cuz I don't know how long this Deadlock gimmick will last for PRX, but there's surely not gonna be much time until teams figure out how to play around the Deadlock, because it's a relatively easy agent to counter. Not to mention they're playing SOLO Deadlock on Sunset which is bonkers...

-Jinggg +Juicy would've been a massive upgrade, because then PRX can focus on something being the scan initiator instead of being a Jett/Initiator hybrid like he is now, and the roles would be much more defined
We saw Cryo play full time duelist in the early stages of 2023, didn't go well
NRG also had a so-called "superteam" without a true IGL, guess how that turned out lol
I doubt this is gonna be a superteam without a proper IGL, and they might even fall apart if things start going bad for them in the gameplay department
Nah I've watched every PRX game since 2022 and I can assure you that mindfreak doesn't always play like this, there were some decently long periods where he would go double negative and lowkey lose a map for them at times, but also go like +15 and solo carry
So basically, a bigger org just bought their way into tier 1 by buying the Ascension org when there were no issues like what happened with The Guard. Is this even allowed?

Competition in Pacific is so low to the point where PRX are still a top 3 team at WORST in the region, meaning they'll still qualify for international events
It will only get worrisome if they start losing to teams like RRQ, SPG or ZETA, teams they should win against comfortably. Maybe then you can truly say, it's the downfall of Paper Rex...
