i wish it was, if he is that consistenly in bad situatuion when he is lurking and the most passive player on the team its his fault. your point can be a applied to someone like mada who hard entries and takes many unfavorable fights not a passive player like patmen

posted 10 months ago

"well he is 400 pounds but the scale doesnt tell you how he got there" aaah argument

posted 10 months ago

something's 1 KD was his FLOOR, also 0.95 and up is golden. Something's floor was equivalent to patmen's peak, incomparable

posted 10 months ago

give me single split where trent had under a 0.9 kd the gap is so large

posted 10 months ago

that explains having a 0.89 Kd? 0.89 KD means you are losing 53 percent of your duels. 1/(0.89+1) = 53%. He only wins 47 percent of his duels, you can be below average and lose more duels than you but you should be winning ATLEAST 49% of duels cause then ur only slightly below league average

posted 10 months ago

i dont give a fuk bout that team, theyre never winning an event

posted 10 months ago

0.95 is good, s0m had 0.97 and had great impact, problem is 1.02 isnt his average he was PEAKING at 1.02. His ceiling is 1.02 and his average is like 0.85 - 0.93. that cant work

posted 10 months ago

even if the meta stayed the same and we won champs we should have still dropped him, this isnt a plumbing job this is a competitive league job security is non existent and should be

posted 10 months ago

ofc not, u can run scan it will still be strong, my point is his impact driven by proficiency in util usage will be less impatcful. Think of it this way, lets say we can give weighting to game impact in binary terms between aim and util. Before it was maybe 70% aim 30% util, that has tipped further in favor of aim. This makes patmen unviable because his impact comes from his excellent util. Also people act like players cant have excellent utility and good aim, this is the highest stage in the game. Look at trent good aim and great util you need both

posted 10 months ago

this new meta is even more aim dependent that toronto, patmen cant hang

posted 10 months ago

k/d doesn't matter is the same as when people say looks don't matter for likability or iq doesn't matter in college, it feels nice to say, but its the furthest thing from reality

posted 10 months ago

new meta is more aim dependent, they took out so much util

posted 10 months ago

his mechanics arent up to par, he peaked in toronto an was a 1.02, WHILE PEAKING. also think about the update, less emphasis on util, aimer will thrive

posted 10 months ago

s1mon should have been dropped after edg WON champs, and everyone said I was crazy. People have this mentality of if you win you can keep the same roster. In most cases you can, NRG should. But when you have a player who averages below a 0.9 KD it becomes so hard to win since everyone else is improving at a rapid pace. I wanted PRX to win champs and then still drop patmen. Noobs will disagree but if they dont drop him they will struggle and drop him sometime during the year, might as well do it now so they can be competitive at kickoff.

Zekken - Duelist

On the G2 VLR page it says he is inactive. Is he dropped because he was supposed to come back and then they were talking about keeping babybay and now leaf is inactive? Is leaf seriously dropped?

or practo is speaking to sean to build trust and avoid scrutiny and he was complicit all along

Seangares said in the video that Practo spoke to him as a whistleblower. Sean also mentions that Burger Boyz is match fixing but doesn't specify who. Why would Practo snitch on his own team when they are close to winning stage 2? Just makes no sense

Who is IGL for Burger Boyz?

Infiltrator from Winthrop University is the third highest rated player in tier 2 excluding relagation matches. He has a rating of 1.25 and a K/D of 1.36. Cubert is picking up a duelist in Satellite from Ambrosia who has a far lower K/D and performance. Why dont teams pick up Satelite? 100T would be immediately better if they picked him up to replace Asuna but he isn't even considered by Cubert despite having far better performances than Satellite.

Masters Toronto is the mickey mouse because EWC has a larger prize pool.
EWC: Total - $1,250,000. First: 500,000
Master Toronto - $1,000,000 First - 350,000

Based on the stakes, EWC is the superior event.

Keeping in mind that Cryo can't play solo duelist, if Asuna and Boostio were to be dropped, the gaps in the roster would an IGL, a sentinel player and a duelist player. Given Cryo's insane aim and passive play style, I think role switching him onto a keiko kind of role would be optimal. Cryo has already played brimstone and this led to them winning stage 1. He could even play some sentinel on one or two maps. We have seen many duelists switch to smokes and succeed because the roles lets you play at you own pace and take the fights you want which makes you aim excel. Examples include TenZ, Jingg, Keiko, Bang, s0m, and many more. With that being said Zander may be uncomfortable playing sentinel but this configuration puts everyone on a comfortable role and if Zander is underperforming all they have to do is pick up a sentinel player.

Cryo - smokes/second duelist

Eeiu - sova/tejo initiator

Zander - sentinel

Sato - Duelist

v0ra(IGL) - flex/flash initiator

If 100T win they get #1 seed even if SEN win because they will have better map differential even if SEN win 2-0 and 100T only win 2-1

posted about a year ago

Tie-breaker is map differential not H2h, remember in 2023 EG qualfiied over 100T despite 100T winning H2H, and riot hasn't announced any changes to this structure. So if 100T beat KRU they are the #1 seed.

Dear NRG Family,

Thank you, Mada.

Today, we’re sharing some difficult news with all of you. After careful consideration, we’ve made the decision to part ways with Mada, a talented player who has been an important part of our Valorant roster. This decision was not made lightly, but it comes after evaluating the team’s needs and dynamics, particularly in areas like communication and the level of hard work required to compete at the highest level.

Mada has been a key contributor to our journey, and we’re incredibly grateful for his time and dedication to NRG. As an organization, we’re committed to fostering an environment where every player aligns with our core values and goals, and sometimes that means making tough decisions to ensure we continue to grow and succeed.

To our fans, we also want to address something that’s been on your minds. While FNS might occasionally go triple-negative on the scoreboard, let’s not forget that he’s the second coming of Albert Einstein when it comes to in-game IQ and leadership. His impact goes far beyond the stats, and we have full confidence in his ability to guide this team to greatness.

Thank you for your unwavering support. We know changes like this can be challenging, but we’re confident this is a step forward in our pursuit of excellence. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to build a team that makes you proud.

Best regards,
NRG Team
