So yesterday we started the hike at 10 PM. Keep in mind this hike is 2500 steps (staircase) and 6000 feet above sea level. You don't fucking understand how brutal my quadriceps were BURNING, literally melting by lava. This staircase is also like 80 degree incline. And I fucking tripped and fell on my back so hard it's still hurting right now. Then obviously we had to go down. My god that was the scariest thing of all time. It's like looking down directly 5000 feet and is so fucking scary. We went so slowly down, and keep in mind I have flat feet. By the halfway point every single joint, tendon, muscle, bone in my lower body was hurting. Hips, calves, quads, ankles, toes, feet, all FUCKING QUIVERING, LIKE CRAZY, holy shit and it was 2 am by this point. When we got down it felt like I was in fucking hell.
