yeah ssd’s have limited write cycles so used ones may be near their lifespan. gpus may be used for mining or may have been subject to poor cooling so their performance would be much worse than expected

buying used would decrease ur pc’s lifespan, but sometimes you’ll see a seller hasn’t used a component that much so its quality wouldn’t have deteriorated that much, if ur on a budget it’s definitely worth looking into. if ur prioritising the longevity of ur pc though then buying new is optimal .

where do you plan on buying them? you can buy second hand / refurbished components at a pretty good price on ebay, add an item to ur basket and overtime the seller might send u offers offering the item at even cheaper. be careful which parts you buy second hand though, SSD’s and GPU’s are kinda risky to buy second hand so you wanna make sure its from a reputable seller with a good rating and clear product description.
