all ranks! we've had everything from iron to top 1000
typically the average rank is plat-ish, sign up bud :) you'll be placed on a team with balanced out ranks

• No rank restrictions, we want to create an opportunity for people of all ranks to experience a tournament environment!
• You can register as a solo participant, in a duo or in a trio. After registration closes, players will be matched together, creating balanced teams.
• Will either be a bo1 or bo2 round Robin format where the best teams qualify to playoffs. Typically one match per week per team, usually on weekends.
• Registration may close earlier, depending on if we reach the registration cap of 8 teams.
Registrations are OPEN now, and registration will close when the 40 player slots are taken.
If you register in duo or trio, all members must register.

Casters are separate. all matches with casters will have a dedicated observer who's streaming, or an observer + streamer. Casters are just in discord and following the observer either ingame through a keybind or through Discord screenshare, if unable to get ingame

🎙️ Do you want to try being a caster? The VLR Community Cup are looking for more people who are interested in trying out casting.
We have regular season styled tournaments for APAC, EMEA, NA and OCE. Our aim to make sure all matches have production, and that’s why we need some more people to help out!
The only thing we require is atleast partial fluency in the English language, NO prior casting experience is needed at all. Most casters are just tournament participants, so there is minimal pressure to ”do well”. As long as you try to focus on the game, and have a fun time - that’s the only thing that matters in the end.

Remember, this is voluntary unpaid work. This is a non-profit tournament, we exist to create a fun environment for people of all ranks. Also, by signing up you are not forced into any matches, you personally pick which match(es) you want to help out on. There are MULTIPLE opportunities EVERY week.
Also! You can also sign up to try being an OBSERVER, and you can choose yourself if you’d like to be a streamer alongside that or not. Not all observers need to be streamers. If you pick one, or both, you will be given all the information and help you’d need.
