What kind of a person makes a thread like this. It's fucking PRX, not some random Tabla gaming eSports team.

Be like Gold2 eSports, accept a stomp gracefully
It was PRX diff really. You can see the aim diff visibly. But didn't expect this to be that massive of a stomp holy fucking shit, PRX looking scary af for Champions (yes I'm calling it - PRX to champions).
As for GE, losing to PRX was expected tbh. I'd expected GE to finish 5/6th, maybe 3rd at the very best hopium level expectations. They fare well against their calibre of competition, but crumble against competition a notch higher. GE'd probably just brush away today's result and focus on their lower bracket run. Shit happens, Indian fans shouldn't be on "ping diff" and other kind of cringe copium.
Congrats on the win, Jingg's a massive upgrade holy lord. Even Benkai looks absolutely crisp. Hope that y'all win it all!
Hopefully Rito can arrange for North Korean teams in 2022 or 23
Will it stop KoreanOverlord from crying about "ping diff" though? 🤔
GE or PRX.
hello
from Chennai (where GE is bootcamping rn) they should get 60 ping on HK
It should be a 2-1. I hate this matchup, why do my two favourite teams gotta face so early.
Your copium is beautiful, mate
He's malding so hard, and I absolutely love it. All his shittalking converted into copium.
people heavily underestimated GE against DK. PRX is genuinely gonna be hard. But if GE wins today, I don't see any reason why they cannot win the whole tournament.
Why do my two favourite teams in APAC LCQ gotta face so early ;-;
Being realistic, NU and PRX will be hard. But if some miracle happens tomorrow, the hopium will be real. Dunno why you're getting downvoted for being realistic.
Before match: 2-0 DK ez vs India
After match: iNDiA OnLy bEaTs tHiRd sEeD
The copium is way too hilarious on this forum ngl
Isn't this literally racism, the one thing OP's pointing out
Using KJ ult to entry is practically impossible on any site because of the aftershock. The fireball will destroy a B main ult as well. Even though they didn't go against Breach, GE were using Lockdown to stall the retake instead, which I found a bit interesting.
Maybe DK thought the Breach wasn't on A, so they could get away by ulting A? I don't know really. What I do know is that the Breach aftershock changes were significantly more impactful than what it looks like, the aftershock was used to clear KJ's B main setup on Ascent as well.
That's what happens when you give a bunch of children and manchildren internet access without any knowledge of internet (or irl) etiquette. Unfortunate really, sorry for whatever happened.
The best unintentional bait thread on this forum
If GE ends up winning the whole thing then SA probs gets 2 slots, otherwise a single slot for Masters is still decent. LATAM's competition level is a lot like SA's, and they get a single slot as well (although I'd love to see more LATAM slots in Masters as their sole representative outperformed both representatives from JP and BR. Quarters for a minor region is impressive as heck.)
It felt more of a GE being better than damwon throwing in most of the rounds. GE's playing as 5 cogs of a single machine, they way they used breach was beautiful (and maybe even saved them a lot of rounds after the new aftershock changes, by killing the kj ult). The 1v3 vs hellranger on split was something they should not have lost in any situation. Another one was the frenzy clutch on Ascent vs an ares and a stinger(?).
Good luck to DWG in their lower bracket run! Didn't expect the games to be this kind of a stomp, really.
Still wouldn't give up the hope though. i do expect GE to get 5-6th place at least, anything more is a huge overperformance.
Why are you bringing up 4th grade type of comebacks. "maam he beat me first"

We shouldn't forget that this is the first major international eSports circuit for Valorant in any form, so we were heading into the circuit with little prior information about how the teams would end up faring. As a result, the current format is the most barebones, "straightforward" format that allows pretty much any team an equal chance.
They really need to sort out the shitshow that has unfurled with minor region LCQ qualifications (SA, MENA, OCE) and CP distributions. As someone said before, all of Fnatic's CP were from their 2nd place finish in Masters, while FPX couldn't even qualify in LCQ despite being in every single EMEA playoffs. It's not comfortable to see the Boastee boys go to Berlin via CP after their Challengers 3 run.
And recently Asteria (a South Asia based women's team) qualified for SEA GC (FSL Elite). I've been occasionally following Meow16K's streams, it was a pleasant surprise to see her in the team.
Gl mate, maybe having a Twitch/YT can help in gaining visibility
Heartbreaking. APAC getting cucked due to visa again.
Their first game is against a korean team, and if they lose they'll end up playing a SEA or JP team. Winning even a single game in this scenario will be a miracle honestly.
Of all the teams in LCQ, only 3 (PRX, F4Q and NU) have international experience. #EZ4SKRossi
I mean he needs a few lineups as well
From what I've observed, any controller works but viper has very easy to do executes with her wall. Cypher's ridiculously good on this map because of how the defenders will inevitably flank you + busted one ways from drop stalls attackers really well. And then you can pick up your initiator(s) of choice + Jett/Raze, or even throw Sage into the mix.
I was so confused till now, thanos for clarifying
I don't think anyone was mad at KR getting 3 slots. If anything almost everyone seemed to call for 2 slots to JP and SA.
Then again, CN got 2 slots only through qualifiers, so even this reasoning doesn't make any sense.
Well, it's all out. L for SA again.
I'm not gonna say it I'm not gonna say it I'M NOT GONNA SAY IT
GE SKR- gets surrounded by a SWAT Force as I get transferred to Guantanamo Bay
SEA is a massive region, 3 slots is fine
KR has performed strongly in Masters, 3 slots is fine
JP. A significant portion of their players are Korean, and they've won a total of 3 maps out of the 15 they've played in international events. Doesn't seem that strong, unfortunately. But no, let's ignore a massive audience in South Asia instead!
Riot really loves doing unbalanced distribution of slots.
It's kinda stupid imo but eh, it is what it is. If GE can secure even a top 4 finish it'll force Riot to take SA more seriously, and provide them with more slots. Kinda like what happened with EMEA playoffs (Challengers 2). CIS got only one slot while TR got three for some reason, and the lone CIS representative - Gambit - outperformed all the TR representatives. They lost to Fnatic in the semis, and this was the Iceland era Fnatic. Fast forward to Challengers 3, CIS and TR gets 3 slots each. The reason why EMEA playoffs is only EU+TR really is because of the single slot alloted to CIS in Challengers 2.
Is there like, any news at all on those? APAC LCQ is only 3 weeks away and I can't find any info on CN qualifiers anywhere.
There's no HK/PH/VT team so everyone will have equally shit ping :D You still get like 50-60 ping from SG to HK I believe.
Viper, Astra, Sova, Cypher. I don't need to fill for Sage anymore after the Icebox changes which is nice. Otherwise I'm comfortable with pretty much all non-duelist agents.
