He does not need to, if liquid wants to be a good team. But this team would be the absolute best in the world with scream being a superstar in the 2nd duelist/flex role

Problem with this team is that their superstar duelist cannot play the most broken agent in the game, operator jett.

He's just remembering the good ol days.

Any of them would have been able to make some roster moves and get a spot on dach or france's VRL.

Poor guy, at least some people only desire that he retires.

posted about 2 years ago

Most guys shitting on him are trolls. However it is true that his potential streaming is large enough that any money he makes in pro play is little in comparison, barring a champions run with a nicely selling skin. Anywhere he goes he should be able to stream more and be under less pressure than his last 6 months in g2.

Guild goes to champions anyways.

True. Nukkye-Hoody-Avova is an awesome core, specially if Nukye is willing to flex to sova as he does now.

Kellogs and meddo are good at their roles, but kellogs overpeaks to death and meddo has a very predictable gameplay. A dedicated IGL would do this team wonders.

Come on, if Koi or giants picked him up he would not be the worst player on either roster.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah, but if performance in game is not possible with a single change, then kicking someone that brings in a significant portion of the fanbase is a bit sus

posted about 2 years ago

Well I never said he would stop being the IGL with that promotion

So smart from pipson to bring his role players with himself, so they could implement a well known "system". Also they did the changes so early that they for sure will look better prepared than the other teams.

I wonder which team will ocelote pick next to get some players and do his money laundry thingy

posted about 2 years ago

They should have promoted Koldamenta to the position of "analyst".

Lowel looked very bad all 2021, he does not stream and is not willing to igl, I am not saying that they should kick him out, but he should not be a central piece anymore.

posted about 2 years ago

Sure, but that should have happened last year. If they free him and he can go play for some low profile spanish team or be a full time well paid content creator, then no harm done. If they keep him in kellogs-kennyS style bench-jail, then they did him dirty.

No matter how washed he might have been he was making g2 money with his media presence, and deserves his portion of the pie.

Heretics should rebuild around alorante, although more realistically sell alorante to a good team and rebuld as a Tier 2. The rest of the players seem like a money pit.

#FreeAlorante

Heretics is the present that keeps giving

Why? Mixwell was actually a decent player for the VRL level they are headed to, nukkye avova and hoody are bolting out or being bought bu real tier 1 teams

posted about 2 years ago

Its not the same, a star streamer can totally coast as a role player (sova) as long as he does not bottom frag consistenly. The main issue for mixwell is that as a jett he needs to perform, specially with a 19 year old jett star in the bench.

posted about 2 years ago

This is very far fetched, they got a coach that demands full control and super structured play, and he then brought in 2 role players (although Hoody is a star flex player) from his own old team. That chain of decisions does not seem to fit what an entitled star player would ask for.

And regarding benching Kellogs.... well nukkye seemed to take responsibility for that lol

posted about 2 years ago

no

posted about 2 years ago

They don't really want him back, at least nukkye doesnt lol. Its their only move, they fucked up big time, either they become top in 1 week or they lose on the VCT circuit 2022

posted about 2 years ago

Sure you can luck out with a honeymoon, but its a crapshot. In any case G2 in the run up to masters 3 wasnt that impressive at all, they beat a crazy-lineup fanatic a bunch of times and thats it. Then in the lan Kellogs-kolda-nukye stepped the fo tho....

Mixwell to heretics and they becoming decent would be the funniest timeline.

Mixwell would fit super well in KOI for Stark or Phyrn, he can play skye and Viper very well and Killjoy decently. He could also play Jett where shrew does it.

The thing is that there is no solution. The only way to do this properly is to build from the ground up and maybe aim for champions 2023.

Liquid is a top5 team in the world, and nivera is IMHO the top1 talent that has entered valorant from CSGO. Not comparable. Props to guild and vitality (and maybe Aliance and Tenstar) for their amazing work, but the rest of the Tier 1.5/2 scene in Europe seems to be in shambles

Pipson is also a change and he and his system is quite a big change, not something that woks well with a do or die qualy just after christmas.

posted about 2 years ago

The real issue is that they are a newish team that needs more time. Their window to qualify for VCT was always tiny, just as for most other teams.

posted about 2 years ago

Why would they kick doma if they hadn't some specific super-player in mind? Isn't fnatic suposed to be a top dog in the scene?
