He definitely has plot armor. Any player who performed like him in the past seasons would been dropped but due to his popularity, he's been able to stay on the team. BUT I do think he has improved immensely and doesn't deserve to be dropped if they do badly this season. He obviously can still compete at the highest level and has a passion for the game

1. His smokes are the longest lasting in the game which makes for great delay on defense
2. His Molly is also the longest in the game which is great for post plant on attack and plant denial on defense.
3. His stim allows for quick rotates on defense which makes it easier to flood site for a retake.

I’m even more confident abt Nrg now. The one thing I had always been concerned abt was only having Chet as a coach. Even though he’s a great coach, he was simply just overworked. Now acquiring such a great coach who led heretics in its early days to win first strike, revamped the vitality roster to almost winning vcl emea, and making a great Mxm roster. I strongly believe in the coaching staff for this team.

The thing with harbor is that ur mostly always taking space with his walls on defense and attack. The duelists should be the one taking that space so it doesn’t make sense to run harbor with that comp

Dude these guys look so drilled on this map. And they’re using a storage comp with astra and omen but it works so well. It’s so cool seeing teams innovate like this. Wish we saw more of it outside of prx in the actual vct circuit.

Ascent: I could see gekko becoming more viable, his flash is really good for site execs and taking space. I dont think he can replace kayo but i could see some teams running triple initiator with a jett and smoke agent.

Breeze: Unfortunately it will probably go back to the old meta comp cus of the halls change but I could see teams still try to run harbor viper in some way (i hope)

Bind: Sova will probably get a resurgence on this map paired with gekko or skye imo.

Lotus: Probably wont change and teams will replace skye with fade. I could see more variety with the sentinel played on this map tho now. Cypher, Kj, and Chamber are all very viable.

Sunset: Honestly this map has the most chance for some comp versatility. Teams can run double controller, double initiator, double duelist. Excited to see this map.

Icebox: This map has potential for a lot of different comps. Teams can go no duelist, double controller, meta, or cook something completely new.

Split: With the skye nerfs we will probably see another initiator for info be paired with her. I could see kayo becoming more played on the map. Still lots of variety with double controller, double initiator, double duelist etc

If it’s best cypher then probably fnc. Duelist? Nrg or Lev. Gekko? Idk yet
