In rainbow six there is an ex console player currently playing on g2, they won their first regional split together in mena recently and are now top 8 in the R6 esports World Cup

The player (stompn) played console and controller for years with just some mnk experience but joined the high level of pro play only months after turning 18 and is already playing international playoffs

its a 3 way tie if this happens and the teams would all be 1-1, then it goes to map h2h. 2g are flat even since they lost eg 1-2 and beat furia 2-1, so they would need furia to win 2-1 specifically to make every team equal on h2h maps.

1. if furia win 2-0 they make playoffs
2. if furia win 2-1 then it goes into a round tiebreaker (i believe its total rounds not h2h, and this would be likely 2g making playoffs)
3. if furia lose by any score then eg will make playoffs

i dont think hes that good but hes the perfect fit for roles, and is prob better than icy anyway. and he will have good practice on senti because hes on a solid tier 2 team and will keep learning on it

having icy/yay as your duelist options seems like it covers the spots but there is a glaring gap for neon

icy has 4 neon maps his whole career and yay obv cant play it, so they opt for way more jett than they should be (neon is by far strongest sunset duelist, solo jett makes the map almost unplayable)

icy/yay should be a good duo role wise, switching in and off of sentinel, but its really problematic when u should be playing neon but no one can. i dont know what player can play both neon/senti, but thats what eg should look for if they want to keep yay
