24 stage 1: lost to a low practice sentinels who nearly played with curry, ended up better than stage 1 sen
24 stage 2: lost to winless 0-7 furia team, we will see what happens

yeah fr, nae is so much stronger than naw, just like fortnite. (NAW was a laughing stock while NAE was top 2) so much easier for a premier team to succeed out west than on the east coast
ofc i hate the iso buff but this update was very fun. it shook up the game finally and i see something very new in valorant which we havent seen in a long time.

sen beat nrg a big part to having a hard counter neon comp on lotus, whens the last time youve seen that in a high level valorant match? a comp countering another. nrg with neon had a terribly tough time breaking the lines past deadlock + cypher
today furias haven comp played against an ideal opponent in 100t haven comp, even furia player, mwzera, said that 100t comp was not built to play against a neon like they had.
this is a cool part of valorant and i think seoul will be amazing to watch with these potential counters and antistrats.
we havent even seen an iso pick against a strong oper team yet really. (i thought furia would against 100t icebox)
im not just talking about today but maybe. i have no idea why they picked haven cause furia had a more time to prepare this map, 100t was clearly underprepared

i think eg roles were fine ngl, but with slight issues, not like 100t. truth is that many teams have slight role issues like this, and i think i was too dramatic when describing 100t roles. i also believe other great teams like optic had role problems.

they are not flexible at all
cryo can only play jett + smokes like brim and astra (his gekko is not good)
asuna can only play raze + second entry initiators
bang can only play smokes
eeiu plays full time scan, he can play breach maybe too but asuna cant play sova so
boostio is actually flexible but he has to play sentinel cause no one else can
you might think this is fine because they are defined in their roles, just play them on comfy roles and its okay right?
not rlly because whenever they play a raze map solo controller (sunset) they are way worse and a player like cryo plays an off role
when they play haven they need to play this fucked ascent comp because asuna cant play breach or sova. and cryo and asuna both dont play neon

yeah. this map is so different and furia knew what to do. 100t cant really run the furia comp just due to the profiles in their team, but why did they pick this map? they look horrible and their comp makes no sense

i think this is how the map should be played. when i saw 100t slow, boring, comp against this amazing, interesting, and inspired furia comp i knew furia would win
yeah pacific has amazing top teams and shit bottom teams. i think they are still competitive but you have a lot of nothing games which are obvious results.
i still personally think emea is more competitive right now, but usually it is americas. 2023 americas league was amazing before mibr fell off because any team could really beat any team (except loud). i think americas is usually more competitive because they shake things up more and dont hold on to bad players or teams that arent working. regardless i think emea is more competitive this year
this roster is very strong. i think they can keep it for next year and do good things if they practice well. lots of firepower but players like havoc need to learn the game and agents more
