If two teams played each other 10 times would you expect the game to be the same every time? No. But most of the time the better team would win. So you can run the simulation multiple times, let's say 100 times, count what % of the matches each team won, and determine how close a match-up is. Therefore be able to say Team A has 75 % chance of winning X Match. Or this match is a 50% 50%. It's not hard to understand honestly, I don't understand why you don't get it.

Please notice that these ratings are produced using the players' stats from the 2022 VCT tournaments. It doesn't take into account competition quality so players in weaker regions might have better stats than they should. This should improve after the franchise starts and there's more accurate data to use.

I know there's still a lot to work on, you can leave your thoughts here on what to do next or fix. Don't forget to support the project if you can!

The movement rating is calculated using the ACS the positioning is decided on the spot on run time.

It's a lot to explain in one comment but the player ratings are calculated using last year's competitive VCT year stats. It doesn't take into account the difference between regions so some ratings might not be accurate but when franchise start there will be more accurate data available. The simulation has many modules, economy simulation, round set up, rotations, fights simulations, trades, etc each module has its own code. The simulation runs in steps on each step something happens then move to the next step, these are the steps right now (pre-round, early round, mid-round, post-plant/retake ).

This is true. But not much can be done about that. Once teams are playing every week more accurate stats can be used.

Also, all the ratings were calculated using stats but for the stream team, there were no stats available so their ratings are not actually accurate.

Yes, hs is from vlr stats and aim is a combination of kills per Death and Kills per round. This is the actual formula: ((KD 100 ) / 1.4 + KR 100 ) / 2. Might be a bit too much. 😅

Fracture is just a mess to simulate very different map, and Lotus and Haven is harder because of the 3 sites.
