So I noticed an interesting detail when it comes to the second masters event and the Champions of each year.
Apparently one of the Masters finalist teams always makes it to the finals of Champions.
• examples are:
Gambit made it to both the finals of Masters Berlin and Champions 2021
2022 is more interesting cause OPTIC/LOUD were the finalist teams in Masters as well as Champions Istanbul
EG made Masters Tokyo finals and also made the Champions LA finals
and last but not least we have 2024, where TH made both Masters Shanghai and Champions Seoul finals.
it's a little fun fact but maybe it could mean that due to the short time span between Masters/ Champs the game ecosystem doesn't have much time to evolve and remains stable which would explain the dominance of such teams.
