They unfortunately will go 1-2 in playoffs
He is 19 and was trialed. Serial mustve looked incredible for them to overlook the role issue
They didnt say why but if I had to guess it was probably that he kept making mistakes on stage. Could’ve been due to nerves or whatever. His firepower was good on TL and it’s good on M8s but you even today can see his ulting teammates. He had some moments on TL where these mistakes cost them the round
Thank you for finding this its very interesting. There’s hope after all
I agree and it’s easy to compare him to Vits new player and see how differently they’re performing. Its only his first game but you cant deny that it seems like a bad sign. I don’t think i would move nats to flex to make him more comfortable though it seems his impact will come from team play and util
Are there any new players that start off average but turn into great players on the same team? Every good new player that i can think of starts frying right from the start. Other new players only start doing good when they get put on a new team.
Its only the first map but if he doesn’t go crazy next map I’m worried it’ll be like a purp0 situation where they only dominate in scrims
I think if you ranked all teams in 4 regions you’d have to put almost all of emea in top 30. as a region its the most competitive because any team can beat any other team. Except for apeks of course. Other regions have at least 3 teams that everyone knows aren’t very good at the moment
The T1 at pacific kickoff was not the same as the one that won bangkok honestly they improved so much in so little time
This sounds so hectic but at least when you hear english you know it’s an important play and not just a micro thing. I don’t see this being successful in the long term because I feel like its added stress to all players except artzin and aspas as he seems fluent in both languages. I hope they make an international because this mixed language roster can work in any region
I don’t think they’ll win another event. The team is so volatile that they’re not able toto execute their ideas and then the caliber of players is much lower. This geng makes lakia look like the lakia of valorant
Team Liquid and the older C9 stuff with vanity
Ever since my goat redgar left ange1 has reigned in EU
Jawgemo to Icy. I know he left but its still a downgrade
How can we get this pinned
How can the Brazilian player base be so bad that they have to pick up a player that was basically excommunicated by NRG? He doesn’t speak Portuguese and apparently barely speaks english! Is this just issues with visas taking a long time for SA? That explains furia fielding NA challengers players for their first match but at this point why not pick up one of the dropped LATAM players that can speak Portuguese
Are these actually the best married men in NA? This is abysmal
I don’t think he was that good when he was on turtle troop
Why would you invest heavily into your academy team and then not promote them when given the opportunity?? I understand Serial might be a good player but Ninja is clearly the best option. His agent pool makes him a 1 to 1 replacement for Kamyk and he’s already signed to your org. Unless they realized he wasn’t ready for T1 when they trialed him and decided to look elsewhere, but then why even sign him to your academy team? I know not every player can fit onto any team but it doesn’t make any sense to enter a role swap frenzy right before matches start
I just watched it this made my stomach turn. I wouldve thrown up right then and there. They wouldve had to call in a sub for OT
Pati is probably the most important piece in this whole team he keeps the team morale up and is one of the best support players in emea. If we’re just going by stats hes not t1 material but that’s how he chooses to play. He’d rather be a great support than a decent fragger. Kamo was imo inconsistent at first but the guys potential is insane. I dont think its true that he has no discipline, he has many different play styles but he always follows the tempo of the team. He really seems like a selfless player and has no issue making a crazy play and dying
It all depends on what major you choose. Anything business/financial you’ll have all the time you want. All other fields are a grind and you get out what you put in. Just make sure you have a strong set of priorities and expectations before you start college
Based on the TL videos it seems like he just wasnt a good fit for the team. He’s genuinely a good player and I didn’t expect them to bench him since it was lohan that brought kamyk with him from T2. I think kamyk was either uncomfortable or overwhelmed by the professional esport scene. The last video where they agree or disagree shows a little more insight into this like saying esports is harder than a normal job. It seems he was under a lot of pressure and thats understandable for a rookie player. Again hes a good player so its surprising that lohan would agree to bench him but i guess theyre looking for immediate results now that they know their potential.
Theres nothing wrong with being a strong supporter of your team as we see in other sports. In my opinion the problem is that these orgs attract the youngest and most impressionable fans. They create an echo chamber to spew toxicity from and to me thats one of the only similarities to kpop/stan culture. Theres plenty of problems in the esports community already where people create brands off of hatred (Westjett for example). I don’t think mixing these two communities is going to be beneficial for valorant as an esport, but theres nothing that can be done.
There’s obviously the obsession with “idols” that comes from this style of fandom, but if the professionals players don’t mind (as Rossy says), then theres no problem. Even in normal sports people make edits, have profile pictures etc. for their favorite players, it’s nothing new.
It’s truly bizarre that nobody is talking about the toxicity in stan/kpop culture. Valorant is already horribly toxic as it is and it’s only going to get worse once these “fandoms” start growing
Its insane what he was doing especially in the skye bind round and the abyss clutch. Thats my captain
Liquid will either bomb out 0-2 or win the entire thing. This is their test
Wow its cold shouldve worn my DIOR DIOR jacket
It was also not the corner plant and maybe he was getting potentially pushed by kk so it's easy to mess up. He bounced back next round so its all good
There's been like 8 insane shots already but that was by far the craziest
I agree I also never realized how important Pati was to the team. I knew he was vocal in terms of hyping up the team, but hearing it from his teammates is really cool. I was also surprised that nats is really a full IGL. For some reason I assumed another player was helping him call, but it seems he's the captain
That new video is incredible everyone should watch it before the match versus EDG today. The ending with nats is amazing and it gives insight into just how good the coaching/igling is on this team
Id say qpert is needed now more than ever. They’ve made it to whatever grandfinals they’re in because of his experience because the rest of the roster is brand new talent. Its also perfect right now since they only scrim against the main TL roster so i think it’s better to have an experienced igl over a fragging igl to deepen strategies
Not having 100% faith in your duelist can’t be a good sign. I hope they’re able to mesh again. Something definitely wasn’t playing his best, but that seemed very rare to see
The coaches did a lot of studying against FUT and BBL. TH might be even easier to study for since they have so many matches. Also it helps that Keiko is playing incredibly and when Kamo plays well, they seem to win anything. I think theres a good chance they get a close game with TH, but beating Vit will be impossible.
I think he wasn’t standing out at first maybe due to nerves, but hes very reliable now and I can see him getting way better
This doesnt make any sense because for the first time in a while he doesn’t even look like the best player on the team
I don’t know if they’ll be able to win anything without a proper igl. I like the nats calling it is always very creative and you can tell he understands the game to a high level, but imo he’s also a big part of the general firepower on TL. In the recent games it seems like all 5 players are fired up and are likely playing at their peak but still only barely managing to win. I think if they get a proper experienced igl everyone would feel more comfortable. So until they get a Boaster or FNS I think their peak will only be top 5. This is just my opinion though I still think they can make an international with their current roster.
I think all NA teams except for G2 would get humbled in an international match and I’d say G2 look the best out of any region. Sen look like the second best in NA and I can see them being beat by almost all other regions except maybe pacific
I think pacific has the least range because imo the pacific teams you listed had to fight to get spots where as G2, TE, EDG,TH, VIT kinda breezed through the other teams
I think jamppi makes a better igl than nats but I’m hopeful liquid will win just because all players on tl have been shooting in the last 2 matches
I think the game used to be more stable and teams were together for more games than they are now, leading to fans having more connection to the teams. Now teams play like 10 matches the whole year and the talent is so spread that they are incentivized to make changes.
Many will disagree with this but miniboo on heretics and i know he’s good but they could be #1 if they just …
Its must be so demoralizing to play when the majority of your team is useless
2 or 3 of their players are awful
