FrosT (FURIA manager) about the 2023 FURIA roster:
"You hit the nail on the head. I could write a book about that team and org.

I believe we could have won a championship. They certainly had the talent but they just refused to play smarter and not harder. Everything with them was a fight for being right and not a fight to win at any cost. The disease of “me” was the worst I had ever seen in all my years in esports."

sad to see such potential being wasted cuz of ego problems

glad to see u back 🔥🔥

the way he spoke was kinda rude, but the advice was maybe good? sometimes the players are too focused on what's happening on the other side of the map and rotate early/give frags to the enemy

yes, it was the era where i knew the least about valorant, yet had the most fun watching every tournament

google translated the most important parts \/

"he already had the desire to leave LOUD after the VALORANT Champions 2022 title, just as Sacy and pANcada did, but was convinced to remain in the organization in 2023."

"he was dissatisfied with the structure set up by LOUD in the United States to compete in VCT Americas 2023. The organization had some problems at the beginning, but later managed to resolve them between the middle and end of the season — when the decision was already taken."

"despite having become the only player to be a brand ambassador in the VALORANT Americas scene due to the influence of LOUD, he was unhappy with some promises that were not fulfilled by the organization and became even more dissatisfied."

"some of the people close to aspas argued that he should make “better” use of the moment in his career to earn more money"

"In the sum of all factors, he reached the point of deciding during the 2023 season that he would leave LOUD after the end of his contract. Although information from leaker Slasher indicated a bad climate between aspas and other players on the team before VALORANT Champions 2023, this issue was not taken into account in the decision."

"LOUD made a renewal proposal and tried their best to keep it for at least one more competitive season. The player, however, refused and chose to announce the decision individually on social media — which had not been planned with LOUD."
