Riot doesn't care, and never has. Look back on League Worlds locations and time schedule if you want. They host anywhere and only cater to the location, targeting the audience is a missconception created by people who are butthurt that the games are in the middle of the night for them.

if you want to see change you should also try constructive criticism over toxicity. Just a small tip

The entertainment is free, nowhere in buying skins do you agree to get a personalised satisfactory esports production. You just buy the damn skin to play with.

Ofcourse they have enough money, but throwing twice as much money to the event won't fix the issues they were facing. Tech problems don't magically get fixed by capital, and half the gear on these events that malfunction are the players property that they brought with them.

You thinking the stage is "awful" is really just an opinion, I prefer this one over last year ones purely just because it's different. HUD broke? Tough luck, a bug surfaced from fresh coding that was made to improve the previous HUD system, and you know they started working on it right away and they are trying to get it better for the next event. Stop comparing it to well established systems while these guys are literally only trying to improve based on community feedback. Csgo events didn't even have a HUD in its early days.

I really don't think SEN has a large fanbase, they were pretty hyped and relevant but most people didn't like them. TenZ (Batchest) addition helped a bit tho.

you want perfect? Go show them how easy it is, or respect the shitload of work they put in.
You are like an ungrateful little toddler that gets a smartphone for Christmas but throws a tantrum cause it's not the latest iPhone.
Poor thing, has the free entertainment let you down? :(

out of all Europe, Valorant is the smallest in Russia. It would take a miracle to turn 99% of the CIS from Csgo, they are pretty much the only ones keeping the games playerbase alive

Because it has not been awful, and the stage is fine :) Opinions aren't facts

that's it. I'm going to bed.

Rb is their best player tf

if you are saying ever then no, 23-21 Fnatic v M3C OT on Split wins, and probably will for a while

posted about 2 years ago

even with them losing here its a pretty great underdog story I wouldn't worry about that

they deserve more

my concern is the KR viewership tho, I just find it a bit sad

They have almost no local fanbase cheering for them :(

not against t1, t5 who have been practicing together for a while.

posted about 2 years ago

I can see how it might seem random for the unsuspecting. Trust me, when I joined a t5 team and started scrimming against established teams you get a slap in your face and realize the better team wins, players emotions are more a variable in the outcome of the game than any other outside of skill and teamwork.

vlr is 95% dumb, 5% reasonable. Choose your side

despite a bad run they are still very good.

a place with low IQ it seems

he said low skill gap, not cap. Meaning the two teams skill level is close :)

too much, it's already pretty long and tiring to follow it all

posted about 2 years ago

Maybe, but this is all hypothetical. There's no guarantee they wouldn't have just lost in the group stage as well and eliminated at the same rate.

Nice run but DRX > ZETA. Hope this doesn't end up being the finals cause it won't be an interesting watch imo

copium. You will feel better tomorrow

Not the same games! plus its easier to be a pro in cs, and this is not an unpopular opinion (shroud backs it as well). In cs wow you see a head shoot it, here all the players need so much creative strategy and have a unique chaos to deal with every round.

saddest thing I heard today

posted about 2 years ago

again, how will that make the game fun to play?

posted about 2 years ago

I would agree to that.

posted about 2 years ago

that will make the game enjoyable how?

posted about 2 years ago

it's the toxic players insecurity that is the root. People will get mad even if it's them that missplayed and try to shift blame. And somebody having a bad game should still not warrant toxicity, the literal best have them too.

posted about 2 years ago

I am, and it's not toxicity towards me. Toxicity towards the team does it too, and people who spam surrender votes after a lost pistol rounds etc.

posted about 2 years ago

I get that other games are toxic too, not very relevant to the problem at hand.

posted about 2 years ago

already top 0.5%, it does not follow.

posted about 2 years ago

80% of my friends and people I met along the way have stopped playing because the toxic community has ruined it for them. I personally try and stay away from playing unless its a 5 stack or Customs.

I think it would be a potentially good thing if they made punishments much harsher for toxic people, but this would also result in a drop in playerbase. A big W for the players that are decent human beings, but a big L for playerbase.

Overall the previous option is more sustainable, long term. And a healthy community would stop more people from quitting and potentially draw in more.

It's a tough thing, wish everybody who played wanted to have a good time and not make everyone feel bad around them.

Let me know what your thoughts are, or don't. Spare me with "snowflake" or "just mute" comments, as it is about playing with them is not an enjoyable experience, muting or ignoring does not solve the problem.

confidence and shaky hands have little to no impact on your dota2 performance. In this game its make or break

posted about 2 years ago

who cares just sit back and enjoy. If you have to be sure that everybody likes what you like so you feel good about yourself just check overall views.

posted about 2 years ago

watching that much Valorant is also pretty tiring tbf. Shrouds energy towards watch parties also decreased rapidly.

posted about 2 years ago

biased seeding would be an unfair way to run a competition. This is just tough luck but the possibility of it is very necessary. They already have region based separation at the start of the tournament but that is the best they can do.

Let this one be the last, never doubt again.

They aren't old enough to realise how the world works and that they are not in the centre of it all. My best guess

posted about 2 years ago

Wrong. When League Worlds is in Asia it's us watching in the middle of the night ( and we aren't upset about it). You ONLY cater to the location of the event.

posted about 2 years ago

entitled much? Players and event employees schedule is no1 priority. They work hard to prepare everything so things go as smoothly as possible. While you cry that the match is past your normal bedtime. FYI time difference can be as much as 23 hours across the globe, and you are not the centre of everything.

posted about 2 years ago

you missed the fact that many of them are 8, and the rest not far off.

posted about 2 years ago

Hopefully they have been adjusted to the time the games actually start. Not the pregame shenanigans that last an hour

Wctn (watchparty streamer) gets about 50k maybe more, but they cheer for cNed in Ace vs SMB which I find a bit weird.
