“New superteam” LMAOOOOOOOO
No
bye bye gwho
Nope, TSM will be limited to 4 characters per player ID, as outlined by the new Riot competitive guidelines( I guess maybe the twitter names but not the IGNs)
https://liquipedia.net/valorant/Sharks_Esports (yng sharks)
Team Liquid, and even if they did have a name sponsor we wouldn't use it lol. We just list it as sponsor
Sponsors don't go in names. Same with Liquipedia
Antidote -> GODL
Excali -> Samurai
Team Mahi brand is banned in VCT now because of owner
No, that doesn't make sense. You can't objectively say "FPX would've beat/lost to Sentinels or 100T would've crushed Fnatic" because you haven't watched them play each other.
World ranking won't be consistent enough to formulate a ranking among teams. Maybe we'll rank the regions, but to have a consistent elo system between regions would require SO much more international play, which Riot might not do(see league)
Especially with how volatile the scene now(Version1, KRU, Sharks might not qualify) it doesn't make sense for there to be a ranking with 20 teams that don't play at every international event that only happens once every quarter.
In total, Riot's definition for EMEA(EU, Russia, Turkey) is only 800 million(which is still big compared to NA) but not 1.7 billion lol
that's including africa
what are you smoking
poiz is kicked, xeppaa replacing poiz, tenz remains under contract with cloud9 and plays with Sentinels
This. If Sinatraa isn't convicted(ew), Sentinels could afford to loan TenZ until the end of Stage 3, and then have TenZ go back to C9.
I don't think Sentinels have the resources to pay for TenZ's buyout, nor would they want to.
C9 easily could qualify for Last Chance or Berlin, and if they qualify for Champions, TenZ and the rest of Cloud9 would be in contention for the best in the world.
Keep in mind, Xeppaa's still on Cloud9. Would love to see how that works out, or if Cloud9 forms some kind of developmental program.
As they would say, the ball is in Cloud9's court. They get to make the next move that defines NA.
Sentinels are tops confirmed
Mechanics is a good step. Once players are comfortable, make the game harder overall, increasing the possible level of competition and increasing the tier1 and tier 2 gap - "What makes a good player?"
Riot already tried(and kinda failed) to support Korean region. They need to combine with other regions to stay alive. Playerbase won't increase in Korea w/ PC Bangs not being able to play VALORANT
CIS scene: While there are loads of skilled players, Riot needs to help improve viewership there. There simply isn't that much interest in Russia rn about VALORANT.
Berlin and Champions will be the same format. 16 teams no play-in, potential formats include 16DE, GSL 8SE, RR 8SE(the last one is slightly less likely as Riot has said it's a double-elimination tournament)
ez for SN ON and SN huanfeng
