Next year. Possibly even later. It’s not easy as VCT isn’t a franchised league so Riot can’t get testing/vaccines checked easily.
-Korea is tiny
-Their COVID situation isn’t shit (although with the Delta var. that’s TBD)
-EU and NA are huge and the logistics of setting up a LAN 3x per stage is impossible right now. It was hard enough already setting up for Reykjavik.
-EMEA in particular is hard as it contains 3 subregions all with their own travel restrictions(EU, TR, CIS)

Ive played against him in ranked, but obv thats not the same thing. I think if there was no post plant, no judge, and no OP metas to abuse and the game properly balanced, he wouldnt be any sort of special IGL at all, open to being wrong on this one

The Philippines VCT Organizer PPGL released info about the VCT Stage 3 SEA Playoffs.
The competition will feature 16 teams from Thailand (3), Vietnam (3), HK/TW (2), Philippines (3), Malaysia and Singapore (2), and Indonesia (2). It will feature a 100,000 USD prize pool and 2 slots to Masters: Berlin, the offline international tournament featuring 16 teams from around the world.
The group stage will feature a single round-robin, Best of 2 format from August 12-15 with 3 matches per day. Teams from the same region cannot be in the same group. The top 2 teams will advance to the Playoffs, running from August 19-22 and featuring a Best of 3, double-elimination format, with the finals being played in a Best of 5. Teams from the same group cannot be matched up in the first round.

yes to VKS, slightly less sure about KRU X10 and CR. I think LATAMN was sleeping a bit in stage 2 and six karma/infinity/lazer have a good chance of winning.
As for X10 I just think the loss of patiphan added to the fact that the qualification path is hard (16 teams) makes me a bit unsure about them.
For CR I didn’t like their roster changes and I think ZETA will regain the top spot and Nth could take the 2nd
