Yeah, but I don't agree, being unable to repeat the agent would make the pros obligated to learn more than one agent, we would see Wardell for example strugling on other agents or sinatra forced to play skye instead of sova, that would be so nice to see... Teams having to decide, picking agent first, map, or choosing side, so many mind games would become possible. I love that ideia.

But it would make things more interesting, getting jett first pick against TSM and making wardell play another agent. Getting Sova first pick against sentinels and making sinatraa play another agent, that kind of mind games would be great imo.

If a team picks Cypher, the other picks Killjoy or Sage. If a team picks Jett, the other picks Reyna, Raze, or Yoru, if a team picks Sova the other has to pick Skye, and the life goes on, one agent is better than the other, but if you get the Sova instead of Skye you will probably lose the Jett, so the teams have to think about that. In my opinion it's already time.

Agreed 100%

Probably this Brazilian guy is a right wing extremist fan of Bolsonaro and trump.

I think it's already time. I'm tired of watching the same comps every single match. 15 Agents now with Astra, if we start with each team having 1 ban we would still have 13 Agents.

The top Agents right now are obviously Sova and Jett, I would love to see people competing to pick them or banking them.

He can just learn.

Is Ninja actually getting better?!

posted about 3 years ago

This Rara dude is one of the most skilled players I've ever seen.

posted about 3 years ago

I desagree, I think auti has a better fragging potential than SKA, just move ska to omen/brim and let auti run jett, he was awping for Gen.G in CS and was doing a great job, ska was not playing competitvly for months, maybe years, and will now play the duelist? He was never this much of a fragger anyway.

So, are we going to have to wait every year till the end of the year to see teams of all over the world facing each other? C'mon, where are the tournament organizers such as DreamHack, ESL, Blast, Epicenter, MDL? Please someone just make a world tournament already, we can't even tell wich teams are good and wich are bad if we just play our region during the year, Valorant will become boring, they have to make world tournaments besides the one sponsored by Riot like CSGO or Dota2, to make the game more entretaining.

posted about 3 years ago

Jammpi would actually make TL better, but they need someone like ex6tenz also, who changed the way NIP was playing and turned them into one of the best teams in the world.

posted about 3 years ago

I literally think that NA is the most stacked Region. Any team here can win it all and we still have TSM, Andbox, NRG, Cloud nine and Version 1, who can still beat any of the teams in this tournament. I've never seen an e-sport this stacked before.

The Operator is a lot slower than the CS awp, that's why you are not hitting. You see, while in CSGO each team has 10 flashbangs to make the awper change positions, in Valorant each team has mostly 5, so OP is super overpowered in the game, that's why the weapon is worse and more expensive.

There's another qualifier still. Maybe they will do better in VCT 3.

Nitr0 makes a hugeee difference in this roster. Probably the most important piece. That's why his contract is worth that amount of money.

posted about 3 years ago

I know, but there's already no semi-finals and finals, why are the opening games BO1? That's such a small tournament, I don't like it.

posted about 3 years ago

The format of the VCT BR is the worst between all regions. BO1? C'mon, no semi-finals and finals? What's wrong with the organizers? How can they decide the prize pool?

posted about 3 years ago

B0i actually played well in the final matches of vct

posted about 3 years ago

Why is DazeD still on the team and Brax kicked? lol

posted about 3 years ago

Because if ScreaM doesn't carry their asses, they lose. The team is heavly dependent in Scream's abilities so people just want a better team for the guy, so another player could actually help him a little bit.

Please give Reyna to Sinatraa every single match. Dude is a God.

That was a double whiff from him

If they don't win anything in the next 2 to 3 months they will kick stew

Orgs picked up KQLY in CS after years of his ban, when he was unbanned, the problem was the he was trash and couldn't be useful, but he still got picked.

posted about 3 years ago

It's not, people who aren't pros are banned permanently by the Vaguard, why is this dude only banned for 12 months? People were permanently banned in CS and Dota for match fixing, cheating is even worse, this will give people reasons to cheat. Should've been permanent in my opinion.

Nisay was banned for cheating in ranked games for 12 months. I mean, really Riot? 12 Months? We are starting to develop a cheating comunity and you are banning people that cheated for only 12 months? People who cheat have to be banned forever it's unforgivable, you are giving other people excuses to cheat.

What do you guys think of that?

Also Stewie

Yeah... To watch BR teams against EU teams, all played in EU. There's only one active scene right now and it's the european scene.

posted about 3 years ago

Azk was never good enough, also dazed can't frag, with those two they won't win shit.

posted about 3 years ago

Another thing that Valorant has and CSGO doesn't is that it united people from every fps dead game. There are people from Rainbow Six, CSGO, Overwatch, Pointblank, Crossfire, Fortnite, Apex, CoD even prople from Moba are playing Valorant, two of the mos viewed Brazilian streamers of Valorant were LoL players, they both became professional Valorant players and are in the main event of VCT, each with a team (Sacy and Hastad). Every single game contributes to the Valorant scene, but the CSGO scene is made of only CSGO players. This is huge.

posted about 3 years ago

Yep. True.

posted about 3 years ago

Agreed. Valorant will only surpass in EU if some very high profile players make the switch. WIthout that I think it will be hard, and I don't see it happening this soon. But think with me, if around the globe CSGO starts to die, it will die in europe eventually. Nowadays every good team is in Europe playing, all the americans are playing there, even the Braziliains, there's no scene in anywhere else. Furia, liquid and EG the best teams outside of Europe are playing there, the cs scene already died everywhere else.

Major finals*

posted about 3 years ago

I think that by 2023 or 2024 Valorant will dwarf csgo.

posted about 3 years ago

I'm talking about concurrent viewers on twitch/other plataforms. Valorant actually has a big scene in ASIA and CSGO is inexistent. CSGO will only be bigger in EU by the end of the year, but globally will be smaller in general.

posted about 3 years ago

The Valorant comunity is growing. By the end of the year it will have surpassed CSGO

posted about 3 years ago

True, but I don't agree that Heretics is a clear top 1. They won the first strike, but G2 won everything before that, and with the addition of Zeek things are different. I don't know man, the things are complicated between those 5 teams. We will see it at the VCT

posted about 3 years ago

kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk lmao

posted about 3 years ago

I mean, Every and each one of those teams can beat each other. For me, Liquid is the weakest.

posted about 3 years ago

Well, they said they would neft it, but not take it out of the game. That's what they did.

posted about 3 years ago

For as odd as it seems, they are struggling right now. They seem to be testing new comps and trying to follow the NA scene, it's not working that well for them. Maybe too long without playing? The two best teams right now are definetly Furia and Vikings, of course if Vorax could come back to the way they were playing before the covid, they would become dangerous again. They used to play with 2 duelists, now they are playing with 2 iniciators, lost to Slick, and lost a map to carrots, two recently formed squads.

posted about 3 years ago

Well, they are the best team, but they still lost 2 tournaments last year. And lot's of teams came close of winning against them, they were always the best, but they never looked that far apart from the top 4, like VS do in Korea. Furia's new lineup has a lot of young skilled talent, we knew they were going to rivalize GL for the top 1 spot, but we thoguht it would take more time.

posted about 3 years ago

Agreed. Even more dumb when the top 8 are all very good teams like in NA, the most stacked Region. If it was Japan or Korea with only 2 good teams I would've understood that decision.

posted about 3 years ago

Totally useless. The teams are all very good, NA is stacked AF, seeding doesn't really matter much.

posted about 3 years ago

Skillwise was not the big of an upset, but we thought it to be, cause GL is a way more stablished team. We didn't know Furia would play so well with such little time together. In my opinion they would rivalize GL in the future, but not this early. Trully an upset, not that big though.
