Sentinels are more likely to be successful in their opening duels due to being in lurk positions on attack or having a lot of utility to support their defense, but they don’t take many actual opening fights, usually only very favorable ones.

After the C9 vs LOUD game, C9 greatly improved their pearl and split with comp changes, using the double wall comp on pearl and a viper comp on ascent that looks very strong. On top of that, leaf went to full time duelist (BIG CHANGE) and Zellsis went to full time sentinel (he looks great on KJ).

They have 3 facilities now, they’re practically controversyless, and they’re a top tier team in many esports. If Team Liquid isn’t the greatest esport org, then I don’t know what is.
