C0m had a rough start but adapted really well at the end, being a solid piece in Leviatan's champions run for the third place and won Americas
Jawgemo was the brightest star on EG even though his team didn't qualify for anything, but his performance was good enough to be picked up by G2
Ethan and Demon1 were just bad in 2024 I agree, but we'll know this year if they fail again with a different roster or they'll rise once again.
Dgzin is really good but he didn't perform well in VCB, as far as I know he got picked for other reasons but his time in VCB wasn't really outstanding (again, he is one of the best duelists out there but if he wasn't DGZIN he wouldn't have been picked up I think)
But maybe some time out of VCT could make wonders for mwzera I hope we see him doing good in an international at least, Furia was kicking asses in the offseason.

They wouldn't be allowed to compete in gc, there are interviews and a whole process to "certify" that they are marginalized gender and such, among various things they take account things like social media and how long they have been trans/nonbinary/etc. Yay wouldn't pass that process.
Mada was like the best duelist in NA challengers last year and Verno was very good the last two years if im not mistaken. Also their performance as a team was great during this offseason so that puts them in the very top of Americas in terms of hype, apart from G2.

Every south american team started their visa process around october-november and even KRÜ adverso just got to LA yesterday, Loud coach didn't make it and the entire Furia roster wasn't accepted in time, so unfair

Honestly this could be the biggest reason, if u put it like that, I wouldn't be a diehard fan of any team if they didn't have at least some players from my country, so it makes sense to the majority of EMEA community to just support good valorant independently of the team.

Valyn showed amazing IGL skills with the Guard and G2 this year.
Kingg had the best individual performance and has been the best player on his team since 2022 by stats (excluding Aspas last season).
Because there is no one who has been at the top like him.
I saw some comments talking about how the GOAT should be someone who was top 1 of the year, but im Valorant we don't have someone like that at the moment. Just looking at all the winners of events across valorant history, the other contender would be Aspas by winning champs 22 and top 3 in 23 and 24 but he wasn't considered the best of 2022 iirc.
In the four years of competitive valorant Chronicle is definitely the most consistently good (excluding Aspas)
