although EDG are struggling to adapt to the current meta, during the champs run EDG look at what he had to do,

he had keep the mental of an unstable rookie who has never had tier experience, he had to teach that rookie and entirely new role, he had the best anti strats in champs and turn one of the dumbest players in the entirety of tier one to a top tier igl. I think he deserves much more credit than he gets
