I have a friend who convinced me that domestic gf was peak fiction (not anime as he read the manga)

MY EXPERIENCE:
I read the first few chapters and was convinced this was some sorta weird fantasy the author wanted to happen to her, my friend said dw it gets so much better later on. (for context my friend so far has recommended me link click, blend S, bunny girl senpai, black clover, aot, jojo and goblin slayer, so I trust him a lot on anime and manga), day by day I read and sent him weirder and weirder pannels. I got to the part where he starts the literature club and that one guy like challenges him to a literature battle with that one guy. I read that was like well thats like a 3/10 (the best part so far) and my friend was like your finally getting to the good part. I read until the end looking for this part that was getting good (it never fucking came)
WHY:
this mc gotta be the biggest dumbass ever, He has the attention span of a fish its literally he will fuck whoever is in front of him at that moment and as soon as they swap places he switches his opinion on who wants. like mf never felt more edged in my life reading a manga and the worst part is, he ends up with the fucking teacher. like if there was a comprehendable story and reason why the guy ended up with teacher Id be ok with it. but my gosh the fact that 1 sight of her was enough to convice him pisses me the fuck off. the story sucks, the characters suck, the romance sucks, the only good part is the anime has a banger opening and thats not even part I experienced.
