While i agree with you about 2G being careful about information,

if the news didnt come on the same day and it was later (like 2 days or a day later), then maybe zap could have avoided gettting kicked cause i feel that the public pressure on the team to do something might have affected their decision on zap.

I think it's worth noting that 1) He was the one who started speculation by removing all mentions of 2G in his platform and pretty much confirming he was out before the information even leaked 2) Considering that, there is a possibility he was the one who leaked the information himself 3) He was the one who quit and 4) It wasn't just a ragequit let's-just-sleep-and-figure-this-out-tomorrow, he actively shittalked the entire team and broke the trust of all of them and they likely wouldn't accept him as a leader again anyway. Was he right? I don't know. But he was antiprofessional and i don't blame 2G for not accepting him back

idk, i feel like EG 23 worked because potter knew how to extract everyone's better side and this just wouldn't work today. taking haven comp for example, we would have Ethan as a main smoker - which he has shown to not be very consistent and comfortable playing, and is also not his best side. also they would have to use tejo and neither ethan or c0m seem very good with it, specially since they dont fit very well with both, considering tejo is too aggressive for ethan and too exec-y to c0m. then maybe they could go with boostio tejo but then he doesn't feel much comfortable on initiator and they wouldn't have a proper sentinel (also i do think boostio would work very well with vyse in his hyper-aggressive sentinel days). i also think taking jawgemo out of duelist today is insane, although he might would do it anyway for the sake of the team cause hes the goat

as we seen in mibr vs G2 game ascent old comp is just outdated at this point. using old comps on other maps wouldn't work it either. i think without the players learning their proper roles (which most haven't in a year and a half on different systems) this team would just overlap too much and be too out-meta to work

i mean KJ was pretty much the go-to sentinel for 4 straight years i think she getting a little down for a while is good. vyse kit is great but its also not really hard to counter (big ass thorns and flash + wall turning up at any movement). shes not overpowered, the teams just need to play differently by locating and avoid/bait more of her util now. also its not like shes being overused in every map, shes strong in some (Lotus and Pearl), weak in a few more (Icebox and Split), and a few on a grey area (Ascent, Haven and Fracture)

learn when he has to play aggresive and passive. he has so many first engagements and fd because he randomly decided to advance (specially on split defense), and thats because he seemingly doesn't know how to properly hold site. he also has terrible util timings specially on omen wasting his paranoia almost every round and doesn't know how to play viper at all. he has close to zero impact on controller and most of the time his good rounds are only mechanics (the thing hes good at)
