i generalized the overall downplaying in my first line.

Whats up with the downplaying of victories and trophies of teams? i have seen so many people downplay the winning teams by labeling the opponent bad, opposite of what it should be.

for example, people downplay Lock In so much because it was start of the franchise and new rosters everywhere but why do they also not consider Fnatic in that who won the tournament? like they will say its a Saadhak masterclass that Loud played so well with 2 new players while downplaying Fnatic and Boaster's work calling him lucky to have that roster (which he assembled himself) cant we just say that Fnatic won because they were better? same with the Tokyo masters, i saw people saying its a mickey mouse trophy because all teams were out of form, wouldnt it be more appropriate to say that no team was actually near Fnatic at that time? i do agree they fumbled bad at champs but i wouldnt say Loud were lucky to beat them as they countered fnatic very beautifully. Is it hate that fuels these things or jealousy idk? genuinely looking for opinions.
