Why do I kinda feel like net would be a player that steel and xeta would both want and that t1 would be willing to poach

posted about 3 years ago

I'm guessing from this night market the next agent or map is going to be some water theme thing. Maybe literally an aqua man whose smokes slow n stuff. An underground ancient tomb themed map would be cool

Not even their igl. Feel like he wants to igl and that's why he's off.

I know but what I’m thinking about is how if they’re the best team in the world in scrims for literally years now they’re not showing it enough. Last stage, already this stage and even champs finals they should have won if they played to their best level. I see nAts playing -a lot of chamber so I guess maybe they’re trying to refix their roles again for consistency. Hope this has been in the works for a while tho and they don’t get fucked by it this week for switching too late.

posted about 3 years ago

Yeah people say they’re the best in scrims but they’re just a bunch of young chokers so unlucky. If they stick together one of those teams is eventually going to have the first era in Valorant cuz they are literally that good and should have that much potential. Kinda feel like those are the teams that you can see the most burnout and just mental blocks in. Whether that’s because they practice/play the most or they literally just care that much, they need to get performance/mental coaches if they don’t already.

If xset don’t make it to Copenhagen Zander will go to xset just cuz why not.

posted about 3 years ago

Apparently there’s bigger news that depends on a teams performance. No one else except sen is in that spot and is actually playing. Shahzam benched and Zander to sen if it happens?

Bdog is going to become the s1mple of valorant

posted about 3 years ago

The difference is he's just established as a t1 player in NA now. He's great and has potential to literally be at the top of NA. Very excited to see how good and far he can get. Crazy to think about how he's become the most experienced Valorant generated talent and that he's basically established in the NA scene as t1 because xset took a risky chance on him a year ago.

Who is liminha can someone explain. I’m interested in imperials story. Did fallen just get a couple players from the lg/sk roster and get a couple young players he trusted?

Guaranteed orgs probably
Feel like the only guaranteed br team is loud and maybe furia a close second

For NA 100t, c9, optic and maybe guard/faze for their size and wealth.
Only reason I’m thinking there’s a chance no sen is because they’re known to have little to no infrastructure and just be a player run org/team. Ish
Literally the org caring and actually being able to create stable systems for their Valorant program is going to be a factor.

There’s a chance riot will actually invest in teams like xset but the size/popularity is still going to be a factor they’ll consider. It’s going to be a longterm commitment where the teams will also grow with the league so idk but Literally every other top org has more staff/teams and just a better system because they can afford it. Just depends on if riot thinks xset will be able to actually run and create a more complex valorant system with better funding ig.

I hope Kru

I think it’s kinda smart in a business perspective tho. Kinda weird to have pushed it as far with their slight success ig but they’re going till they can’t. Having a franchise spot in this NA scene would actually be so important for t1’s brand long-term and operations in general. Staying in NA for now does makes sense tho. Because they’re continuing in the off-season it doesn’t mean they’re going to be in NA next year for vct but that they’re just going to be NA for the time being. They have a famous igl, xeta and a bunch of young and hungry players. Any t2 teams goal this offseason is going to be to get the stonks of their players up and try to make the most profit possible. It’s crazy how even as a t2/3 team because they are t1 they can still make it into the league. T1 still have a chance to show they can grow and be a good team in NA and if they show enough dedication and success in the break maybe they will have a higher chance of being considered. With how big the NA market is rn and how it’s growing, a longterm investment for this region is and always has been a good idea. If they can’t find success in NA tho as soon as they switch to Korea they will 100 percent get a slot. There are literally no orgs and t1 is the biggest Korean org. Riot would literally have no other choices. And switching to Korea is literally no rush rn. There are so many free agents that you could pick up anytime to build a top roster. They already have so many resources in Korea that it would literally be the easiest thing for them. If it doesn’t work in NA they could just take basically the most famous Korean Valorant player itw and build a team around or with him. They’re just taking a last dip for a chance to be in the NA scene and hopefully the venture doesn’t end up hurting any more players reputations/careers. Doesn’t make sense to switch to kr in a TO tourney break either. There are literally no tourneys or TOs. What opportunities will t1 even have to play if they switched to kr val rn. It is probably guaranteed that there will be big tourneys in NA for now.

I think it's also good to point out for the stability and comfort of autumn and xeta's careers this may end up being the best move long-term if they end up moving to KR, assuming they will be successful in either region.

I can feel xerxia's momentum. They' 80% make playoffs next masters. Hopefully, they don't choke this time.

posted about 3 years ago

I know but I was more impressed by nrg strategically and their depth. They still have high firepower and strategically they seemed sound. You could feel the impact of the new coaching staff and see their gameplan. 100t was just solid but against a guard that was making so many mistakes. Tsm didn't even do that bad whereas it felt very messy from the guard

yeah but we all know that won't happen until it's too late.

They will have to buy some players tho. It is inevitable unless they're literally just going to waste their time. Alot of t2 orgs and and even some of the teams in challengers might not get into the league. If t1 is trying to stay in the league nothing better than to wave some tasty players infront a rich asf org like t1.

Confirmed roster:
Xeta
Autumn
steel(probably involved)

Choices On current roster
Steel, pwny, thwifo, brax(streamer), dynamic (apparently did get signed)

F/A's
babyj
wardell
lft oxy
dazed
koosta
maybe zombs
maybe sinatraa
snirot

Players on other teams:
V1 players
Knights players
current "t1" NA csgo players
any team in NA who bottles it in playoffs/groups

(steel seems to be confirmed too)
Possible rosters:
Xeta, Steel, dynamic, Thwifo and pwny

Xeta, ban, skuba, steel, +1 (thwifo, zellsis or zombs)

xeta, bdog, literally anyone

Feel like t1 at this point would just buy tenz or something. They can afford it and will literally do it even if it becomes the dumbest move in val history.
If they are going to make roster moves they have the money for it and hope it's not just clout moves that become a giant mess

xeta, zombs...

Genuinely think a player like frosty will have a great future on t1 and would learn/develop so much from steel as an igl.
Xeta, steel, ban, skuba, frosty. Frosty or steel on flex?
give frosty igl role when steel retires.

Think the best possible move for t1 would be to get the young knights trio or a mixture of v1 and knights players

Wait a minute xeta going to be the first piece for a Korean team?

I guess he has the best stats NA from last stage atleast. Can’t tell if he is just because his rifle is so good so we literally haven’t seen him op as much so maybe he is and we just dk

posted about 3 years ago

Love how this is actually turning out to be an entertaining and good match

posted about 3 years ago

Don't want to get 2-0d but kinda want to see the nrg keeps 2-0ing until they literally can't storyline. Xset game was sloppy so dk if it was nerves or that's pretty much all they got so not too high on hopium yet.

posted about 3 years ago

It's not that I'm saying a team is necessarily better than another it's more like they're probably gonna throw on that date. Just because of the storyline. It's good to take positives from winning but you can't really take alot if 1 team just massively underperforms too. Tsm beating 100t just go lose to ghost and lose their chances of playoffs is funny. and very TSM like

I want to understand from other Xset fans if there are any, how and why did u become a Xset fan? I originally declared myself a fnatic fan but as an NA resident I slowly started to be more interested in a NA team. That team was xset. I originally loved how a bunch of underdogs/new org clawed their way up the ladder with upsets and just gave a slight bit of hope instead of following an obvious script. Don't remember what specifically but I know I liked their style too. It is kind of sad how they are now stuck in maybe a 4th place curse but every move they have made so far seems to have been very impactful.
Literally what and why? Why out of all the good teams xset? Is it because every other team just fell-off once in a while?
Thank you to the 3 other fans that will answer.
Our Tottenham to ucl finals type of run has to happen eventually right?

posted about 3 years ago

This is what happens when a good team constantly plays against different styles in international competition. You can see how much optic has learned, improved and literally perfected gameplay. They're slowly growing into maybe a league of legends-ike team that can integrate different comps and adjust while learning new metas fast asf.

posted about 3 years ago

I'm kinda scared for faze in the fact that maybe what happened to nrg last stage might happen to them this stage. They're a good team that can make playoffs but going against the best teams in the group early and maybe getting stomped might just remove their confidence and just not let them build any momentum. Just unlucky scheduling u know?

posted about 3 years ago

Either optic look sloppy or it’s just a dominant game from them
One of either xset or ghost will throw
Fpx 2-0 or 2-1 maybe they’ll be sloppy without their old analyst but if they lose to the new Fnatic line up weeks Into their team, would be a dissapointment
Liquid 2-1 or big 2-0 depending on how good big is. If big is relegation level liquid 2-1 if they’re good big 2-0

Thought that said qualify and that u just jinxed them, close call

posted about 3 years ago

I know but that's kinda not different from how emea was like last year or stage 1. That Navi vs bbl game made me wish 2 teams got demoted from each group instead of 1.

posted about 3 years ago

Holy fuck what are these games. I have lost all hope for emea teams that arent the 2 teams we haven't seen play for 2 months.

posted about 3 years ago

I know but the point is these teams make the strats look terrible. There's a difference between copying strats and understanding them while making them your own. There's a reason why optic is the only team that ran so much neon because it matches their players and their strengths. Because 1 team is good at it doesn't mean it's an actual good comp in general. So many teams suffer from trying to force unique comps because it once found an instance of success but it ends up sucking cuz it doesn't match their players or team at all.

posted about 3 years ago

Please don't tell me emea has turned into a copy optic on fracture and do the same 2 strats simulator
