SEN was the problem the whole time..... sad times
but honestly crazy how MIBR/NRG haven't been together for THAT long and they've improved this much. big ups to them
When I watched FNC play, it always felt like derke's presence was there, he was the spear tip for that team. Kaajak isn't the same as his responsibilities aren't the same as derke's, maybe bc he's a rookie and don't want to put too much pressure on him. There are maps where it feels like he can't make a play or doesn't want too, playing more passive instead of taking the initiative
His pistol round ace on lotus against sen was beautiful. I'm surprised the role change has messed him up this badly
When he was on tejo, probably one of the best ITW on it. Quite underwhelming since then, no?
end of the day, it comes down to hitting shots. They werent, not a sage problem atm
to pull themselves out of man disadvantages
If you want to be like a lawyer, doctor, engineer, teacher (most often), you absolutely do need uni. Trade school is always very viable. Its all based on what you want to do
I don't have an answer for you bc I would have to actually take the exam for A level math. However, from what I heard, its typically harder (idk how much) bc its more expansive and BC is practically all calc
Yeah im a sucker for math, that and physics were the only ap exams that I cared for passing. Everything else I just took for the GPA boost LOL
I'm from the US, its calc 1-3, then linear algebra and differential eq. If you get a 5 on AP CALC BC, then you're eligible to skip calc 1 and 2, which is what i did
More like when people expect them to win, they don't but then go to the lowers where no one thinks they can win but go on a run like last year at champs. No one believed in them when they went down 0-2 against FNC then played the best valorant of their lives the last 3 maps. I do think there is some weird psychology behind it
TH should be the heavy overdogs and they have a tendency to crumble when the pressure is on
is it just bc of the DRX 5-6th curse? LOL
My honest take is that the G2 loss in the upper final broke them. The gap between the teams was much larger than they expected and couldn't recover from it
The motivational speeches don't work on n4rrate and bang, they crumble more after
The tourney is that open?? I could go back and watch the games, but not watching it live just doesn't hit the same
I've caught less than a quarter of the games this tourney, how legit are they? same question for drx/gx? I expect the rest of the teams to do well, they're sorta my outliers
What does Kaplan do? How does your tilt trio of johnqt, bang and narrate still have the same problems from the beginning of the year??? How is zekken the only one who has fun on stage? You went from have a cohesive team in 24' to this pile of individualism, I would've thought this team just formed with how theyre playing.
The most frustrating thing about him is that I would see clips of his interviews after his losses, saying "we aren't playing to our full potential" like bro THAT IS YOUR FULL POTENTIAL. Your team plateaued, y'all aren't getting better and just bc you play a really great game every now and then, it doesn't mean thats locked potential. Its a statistical outlier, your team has reached its ceiling. I normally wouldn't care if a team sticks with a roster throughout the year but atleast do something different, it felt like every game they came in with the same stuff, EVERY SINGLE TIME. No communication, no energy like if I went to work and did the same shit that resulted in errors, I would've been canned ages ago
And also why did they get rid of drewsparks?????? Okay I feel better now. Thx for listening to my TED talk, I hope yall have a great day
And then the last round, where aspas slides ahead of cortezia so the trade isn't there. The saw the finish line and forced too much
They lost to the team that beat g2, and the maps were close so I wouldn't call it fuckall LOL
The top losing wasn't surprising, was it predictable? no but its not shocking
The biggest thing was the extra prep time for them. TH/DRX/MIBR all basically got a month of practice due to champs points. If it was just top 4 from stage 2, I think the seeding would've mattered alot more
Never overcommit to a site and save util for retakes/site hits. And how active MIBR are being bc they know FNC don't rapid take map control
The smoke might've not been commed and that he lost eyes on it
Mechanical skill isn't why Mibr were struggling, it was always calling/gameplans
You can definitely tell that this team (sen) isn't as hungry as they used to be to lift a trophy.
Life was boring back in my own timeline so I came back to watch peak Valorant
When they added skuba, I thought it was a good move (big fan of his) but wouldn't amount to much bc they'd still lose even if he played well
Bonkar said he was helping ethan learn to IGL, did I have faith that it'll result in a top 8 finish at champs? not a chance
People will argue about whether DRX/EDG are truly good, but the games were impressive. For a team of 3 T1 rookies to have this level of resiliency and leadership was unexpected atleast from me.
For a team that formed before stage 2, it such a great showing as much as I hate to admit (I was hate watching most of their games NGL LOL). How does this team have so much grit and then my team full tilts 3 rounds into a match? :(
The sheer amount of anti-ecos and man advantages thrown are insane. It reminds me of the old pacific play style of "we can outaim you". Or am I being too harsh?
GENG, BBL, C9 were all teams I wish were here
In hindsight, they for sure should've promoted skuba. However, at the time, they were doing well domestically just couldn't get over the hump at internationals so it makes sense why they kept the roster, in hopes they can reach their highest potential
Bang is good but no tenz
I saw a post about 24' sen earlier and it got me thinking. Both of them would've loved this meta. Sacy would've been perma sova/fade and i think he would've been a great tejo. I think tenz would've gotten to play double duelist yoru alot.
YES, I used to love playing viper
I want instant dash jett back with the refresh right clicks. It was so fun to play
Its crazy how this team has such a mental block, I feel like we see this "talk" so often. The tilt mentality is so prevalent with this roster
Opened up twitch and saw him streaming. The memories of that old sen squad just came flooding back
there will probably be another soop/alfreeca tourney
I agree, yoru falls along the same lines as omen. Not broken but more practical than other agents. The only reason why I think a yoru nerf will happen is bc I don't see how they can buff the flash initiators like they won't revert skye. Breach is forever meh. Kayo is in a good state along with gekko
Yoru basically kicked them out of the meta, we know riot loves to "balance" the usage of agents. Does Yoru get another nerf and becomes unused again? That what I predict will happen, probably only 1 tp and a 2 kill recharge like normal. Ult cost 9
