C9 actually play Mickey Mouse Tournaments so they are clear #1. NV is at #2 because of Victor COVID tax and SEN is #3. 100T imported a washed IGL and have a paycheck stealer on the team so if they are Top 5 by the end of Challengers I'm shocked.

I think KCP has a real shot next qual... they got knocked out by Akrew and NRG, not exactly a bad showing by any means

It really depends on seeding but my top 4 is:
LG, T1, Rise, and either KCP or Akrew
Who do you think makes it?

posted about 2 years ago

Imo:
1/2. C9/NV

  1. SEN
  2. XSET
  3. Any of V1/100T/NRG

XSET is Top 4 NA with Cryocells people need to realize...

posted about 2 years ago

BTW If they play this way during the next Open then I doubt they qual next cycle... Riot might have to rig the seeding for them...

posted about 2 years ago

If LG didn't throw every other round they would have cleared you guys. Face reality you aren't gonna qual next round either....

  • Beat by Knights (LOL)
  • Clear random T3 team for confidence
  • Barely beat LG despite being the worse team for the majority of the series
  • Get stomped by T1 and have to tweet to win (Org has Riot in their pocket)
  • Rolled by a T2 team who won't even qual this round
    MUST BE FREESM!!! #TSMWIN
Glad Roza now has all that time to tweet during the rest of VCT... only impact he's gonna have LOL

Until they realize they won't win with that whiny little bitch I doubt they are gonna go far. Feel bad for Aleko and Corey they are likable guys...

No idea but Subroza is acting like he committed a war crime on Twitter

  • Want Server where they all get ~20 ping and instead get 30-40 and bitch when two T1 players have low ping. Yet Seven and Pwny are on like 50-60...
  • DD8 accidentally types in chat and they throw a shitfit to Riot and have the game paused
Completely ignore them throwing on CT Side Map 1 and them getting rolled on Icebox. Glad Seven could barely win that 3v1 with his 60 ping...

This is what happens when you kick the actual Astra player (2x) and flex your underperforming streamer onto a role he isnt good at

seriously they put fucking Rise/Soniqs over this cmon now

People sleeping on LG. Them, NRG, T1 and XSET are my 4. Akrew/Guard/TSM/V1 go far but miss out.

posted about 2 years ago

Pretty goofy if you think he can play Astra at a high level... if they put him on smokes (which they have to given the roles) he only is very good at Omen and decent at Brim. What has he done to show otherwise??

posted about 2 years ago

Role overlap still sucks they have no one comfortable on Astra besides Rossy but he's on Sentinel. Roza plays Omen well but he isn't meta so I don't have confidence in him as a fulltime smoker but we'll see. Core issue is still Wardell needing the AWP for him to be effective, so I hope Rossy can IGL/plan out how the economy would work.. Prediction is they qualify for main NA VCT event but they won't go far

Either addition right before a major year-defining tournament wasn't the solution! THATS MY POINT! Neither Seven or b0i were the short term solution and the results showed that. There were other options, they just relied on nepotism and look where it got them.

posted about 2 years ago

The "promising rookie" was Seven who they never even played, they added b0i who played poorly on top of the team having poor synergy as a whole. You can stop dick riding and realize the roster management has been awful in recent times.

posted about 2 years ago

Whatever the reason as to why he got kicked, it is the immediate replacement who was never up to par that is the main crux of the issue. Also, why kick Steel if the IGL who takes over will be gone by the New Year?

posted about 2 years ago

Brehze would have been a good signing because he at least is from the region and mechanically cracked. This ec1s move really grinds my gears why would you import when there are homegrown IGL's available? 100T just wants an easy way out with fast results so they can monetize it instead of developing a good team from the ground up.

posted about 2 years ago

No I just can't believe a multi million dollar org is run by a bunch of retards

posted about 2 years ago
  • Top 3 in International Event, beat the eventual winners in groups
  • Kick IGL and add replacement based on nepotism right before LCQ
  • Lose because 0 synergy and poor fragging
  • Nitr0 leaves, now have no IGL
  • Decide to cut top prospect Jett main on bench they signed months earlier
  • Instead of investing in NA with available free agents (Zander, Cryo, Bang, etc.) they import a washed IGL from EU (literal braindead decision btw) and waste their time trying to sign cNed
  • cNed deal obviously doesn't work, half of NA F/A's have been signed by now
  • "WAAAA it's so hard to deal with buyouts and problems we can't solve by throwing money at it"
IDK who Nadeshot has running this but holy shit are they stupid as fuck.
posted about 2 years ago

You could split it up like EMEA so that BR and LATAM each have their own qualifying slots like TR/CIS/EU before they all compete for the 3(?) slots they would collectively have for International Tournaments.

posted about 2 years ago

I just feel like Sacy is so good at Sova and BR has good enough flex duelists that having him in that role is a bit of a waste comparatively.

posted about 2 years ago

I think the duelists are underwhelming compared to what was potentially floated around, but still better than any current BR roster

posted about 2 years ago

Honestly hope they gel well and get good results but I am not sure this current iteration of the roster is it.. maybe psalm proves me wrong but he hasn't really impressed me so far. And given the one agent NA is far superior talent-wise at is Sova, I wonder how long until a cracked T2 player replaces him

posted about 2 years ago

Was referring to more of the OW style franchising or what limited amount there was related to CS, I get how its not that bad in league (for EU). League franchising in NA hasn't had the same effect tho.

posted about 2 years ago

Regional Leagues look very cool hopefully we get this structure with pro/rel and not a shitty franchised league that kills the T2 scene

posted about 2 years ago

If the quals were only played on icebox I would agree

posted about 2 years ago

LOL average TSM fan NRG solved their issues because they got an IGL. Literally within a week of the roster forming they placed high in both tourneys they played, and took a map of XSET and kept it close.
Compare this to a TSM roster with an underdeveloped/new IGL. Their weakest player now has to role switch to appease Corey, and they are going to suffer since the only controller he is T1 at is not meta. TSM also has to force buy an OP for Wardell or since he is a below average rifler.
NRG>TSM this year for sure

TSM will again win jack shit in 2022 since they have to keep forcing OP buys for Wardell. Also Subroza isn't going to be a good Controller, only reason he still on TSM is his brand. Agent overlap doesn't work.

LATAM peaked this event and will struggle to make Semis again. Brazil will finally get out of groups with the Sacy MIBR superteam.

NA continues to underperform during the beginning of the year but will rebound and then have a Finalist in next years' worlds. C9 will be the top team. SEN will have to make roster changes before they rebound back.

Chinese teams will gungaflop and everyone is overhyping them in the short term.

Turkey will continue to choke on LAN. Team Liquid will be the best EMEA team in 2022 and will farm all year.

Would it make sense to combine MENA with TR and have MENA's own slot go to CN in your model? I feel like both KR and CN should get 2
