“They always talk about them being unlucky, but the track record shows who is the better team,” stax said in the post-match interview yesterday. “We won't let our guard down, but when we beat them tomorrow, we'll make sure we crush them once again.”

imo rb was carrying but yeah mako didn't even do "bad" in tokyo, just subpar from his usual standard

drx 2-0 navi in every universe sorry not sorry

honest question: who do you think is better than him?

never has never will

drx as a whole just looked so cohesive, and 4/5 members were on something yesterday. stax's igling was a massive step up from tokyo, he was reading loud like a book 9 times out of 10. personally I just need a little more out of buzz on certain maps but other than that I'm hopeful that this is our year.

posted about 2 years ago

he's just so damn consistent, you can always rely on him to get the most impactful frags in a round

eu have the most painstakingly inept gameplay I've ever seen. both teams only had 2 strats on bind: default until 25 seconds left and flood in thru A short, or 5man rush down b long. drx vs loud was some real valorant if I've ever seen it.

posted about 2 years ago

my guy i am praying as hard as you are for eu's downfall but saying "idk where romania is" is not good looks bro lmfao

as will i.

posted about 2 years ago

undoubtedly leo, but a contender that not many ppl mention is ethan. bro's util is crazy as well. but leo is #1 without contest atm

edit: just saw title, has to be kayo or skye since they can get vague recon and have flashes

what are you waffling about lmfao

posted about 2 years ago

i'm saying bro. these s0m fans need to snap back to reality

posted about 2 years ago

i think of all time, still yes. in terms of 2023, depends on how hard he shits the bed.

posted about 2 years ago

real i need to relive champs 2022 tbh :(

posted about 2 years ago

scrims don't matter for shit lmfao loud and drx both use scrims to improve their gameplay and strategies rather than trying to win

as for tl and navi

goes both ways no? s0m only performed better at masters, whereas mako has been owning during 2023 and in previous years as well. s0m outperforming mako in one tourney doesn't magically make him better than mako.

posted about 2 years ago

if* but sure if it comes to that

posted about 2 years ago

purely as a smoker? no. but as a player, with the level of igling he contributes? arguably yes.

lock//in:
mako: 1.23 rating, 240.8 acs
s0m: 1.12 rating, 212 acs
league play:
mako: 1.28 rating in league play, 1.05 rating in playoffs, averaging to 1.18 rating across the season with 212.2 acs
s0m: 1.14 rating in league play, 1.11 rating in playoffs, averaging to 1.13 rating across the season with 204.7 acs
masters tokyo:
mako: 1.06 rating with 195.5 acs
s0m: 1.12 rating with 209.3 acs

purely statistically, the differences in their performances has been marginal within events, and s0m has not outperformed mako to the point at which we can say that he is better than mako.

navi too high should be below 11th at least. giants, kru, t1, and zeta could all beat navi on any given day
