It sure does affect FPS levels but It doesn't make a change for me sadly because my monitor is capped on 60hz which means I can't see any difference between 60fps and 60+ So It's probably placebo for me. Crosshairs look better tho ngl xD

Just like you said It does not work like It does on CS but still the game feels more smooth. It's hard to explain. I have a 60hz monitor and even tho I run Valorant on 60fps, switching to 4:3 kinda creates the illusion of 144hz I don't know why
