most of EMEA is young players because most of the playerbase stayed with CS when they big switch happened, young players dont want to IGL

he does have chances throughout the year but I feel like he wont get picked up then, midseason people will want to cracked tier 2 players not the tier 1 experienced player who underperformed

i am excited for the remake because hopefully it fixes the pacing and we get to see earlier arcs with good animation, although I really love the early style of the anime

just because it has more elements doesnt mean that it is better

made in abyss has world building so good you feel like youre in the world with the characters

heavenly delusion does an incredible job at answering questions without giving you clear answers

dororo explores relationships with people who want and dont want them, creates a world around those relationships with is fantastic

tokyo ghoul is a bit of a stretch tbf should probably take that out

also yes 1015 is incredible gotta lock in for that

skypiea is a slop fest for stuff that doesnt matter for 500+ episodes

brother respectfully, one piece world building is at best decent, so many things are just thrown in and random connections are made that seem good but are so surface level and have so many issues with them, along with oda's obession with not letting people die and pulling shit out of the hat, like when multiple people in wano are supposed to die but just dont for no reason

I like long arcs, water 7 to enies lobby is perfect, I just dont like long arcs that dont need to be as long as they were like whole cake (specifically the end of whole cake)/dressrosa (specifically the start in the colloseum)/wano act 3 (the whole fucking thing so far)

There are some lows but tbh the highs are very very good, water 7/enies lobby is one of my favourite arcs in fiction

I can kind of understand it, people like villains that are unbeaten, although akainu is really underdeveloped as a character

I really like Kizaru tbh, cool devil fruit and a really interesting speech pattern, hope he gets developed further soon

even then, I would still say my favourite characters are robin/zoro/franky and pre-time skip sanji, cant really understand how people could say an admiral is better than those characters

Usopp frustrates me beyond any other straw hat because he has done absolutely nothing towards his dream when literally everyone else has done something or are actively seeking their dream. He is only a good character when he is misunderstood or trying to be someone else

He was probably my favourite character before the time skip, along with Bon Clay, then they fucking gutted him and removed all personality except for the middle of whole cake and post episode 1000

dont even get me started on god usopp/usopp as a character

they were important but they were so incredibly dull and made me sigh every time I would see them on my screen

it wasnt even he was just weak, I hated the whole undertones of racism and needlessly lashing out because it felt so out of place

also Sanji was insufferable at fishman island and that lasted until a couple episodes ago for me, really hated that especially when his character was great before the time skip

noone can tell me they cared about anything that the tontatta were doing

fishman island is top 3 least favourite arcs in the series for me even without pacing issues, genuinely awful villain

doesnt change the fact each arc is filled with shit subplots that are there to pad the story

, + I watched it from thriller bark to the start of whole cake, dressrosa still felt like a chore to watch

Im in the last 20 episodes of Wano, which I know gets really good, but I have to say almost every single post-time skip arc is too long and drawn out, and im not talking about the filler they put into episodes, im talking about the actual story and having way too many subplots in each arc. Every single arc post-time skip has been disappointing with a couple of really really good moments (middle of whole cake, yasuie in wano etc) but there is so much useless shit that it takes away from the series as a whole

everyone that says one piece is the best or even one of the better shows at world building is lying, they make a decent world out of 1000+ episodes when Made in Abyss, Heavenly Delusion, Dororo and I would say even Tokyo Ghoul did better in the first season alone

the series was so much better pre-time skip when they didnt have 5 different sub plots in each arc and each arc didn't need to be monstrously long

as much as i hate sentinels fans, rob moore is definitely one of the most repectable org owners in the space

i didnt watch that many but akame looked like what DFM needed

i genuinely think babysasuke could put up a better perfomance than kodamenta did the first year of franchising, he was fucking awful

he fits the team with how vocal he apparently is but ive been a crashies hater since late 2022 and dont think he brings enough firepower to offset the loss of leo/hiro + boaster's bad fragging
