probably Cloud on Giants even though he was pretty good before he lived in 7ssk7's shadow on the old Na'Vi roster but nowadays showing his strength and consistency
with raw aim, I would argue derke
but valorant is more than raw aim, so its so hard to say a definitive best player, I would have derke, chronicle, leo, crashies, kingg, mako, rb, tennn, khalil, sheydos, trexx, aspas, cauanzin, k1ng and probably a lot more than just dont come to mind at the moment, all up there as very strong players
for igling its between saadhak, boaster, fns, kingg, stax and maybe ange1 as long as he doesnt troll his comps
so many players and it'll take a few years to see who stays on top
it is a bloated topic right now but just wanted to share frustrations with the way Sentinels have ran their team
Sentinels bought a team of superstars (and dephh) and expected results immediately. The only reason, as an outsider, Sykko would've been booted from his coach role is for not getting those results. (Could be other issues within the team but as far as we know, it's for results). Their team needed time and synergy as there was real core that was brought over from another team or kept from Sentinels for the VCT 2023 season. Instead, they start making changes and their are rumours of Marved playing next week (I personally doubt that but also doubted they'd kick their fucking coach).
I've said it before on VLR and I will say it again. This Sentinels roster was a mistake. They should've invested heavily on a very strong IGL with flexible players to play around TenZ and fit to his playstyle as he is their win condition and why so many people watch Sentinels. I don't exactly like TenZ's playstyle but I do have to say that it works but it needs a certain set of people to enable him to play like that and he just doesn't get that support. I do not blame the players for not being able to play to their top potential when they are being brought into a new team environment and for pancada especially, learning a whole new language. I do not blame TenZ for his bad performance's on this roster for many reasons outside of the game but as well as what I just mentioned, the team is not built for him when it should be.
The last thread I did about Sentinels I held out hope for them as a team as they still had to build their synergy but with the management looking hasty for results, I am losing more and more hope for this roster.
TL;DR - I aint reading allat, nice thoughts tho
for some reason I remember him saying it was pronounced "nuke-ie" but I could definitely be wrong
Although Heretics are struggling in a lot of their matches, I feel like the Zeek's IGLing has been very impressive for having only started IGLing for Heretics after Lock In. His midrounding is getting better every map they play, although some full executes they run can be a little off. After watching them first week of EMEA and seeing the atrocity that was Pearl I had no faith but slowly gaining more and more faith in this roster.
Their Pearl is still ass though.
fair thing to think, same was said about boaster and mini before lock/in before proving theyre not the problem
fair groups tbh, would argue three/four from each group that have chances of making it far into playoffs
would've probably picked nature over him but idk who else I would rather have over c0m that isnt signed to another tier 1 team or m80/guard
I used to be a massive Sentinels hater then I realised if Sentinels built the team around TenZ, they could be a top contender as long as TenZ stays on his comfort picks and the rest of the team allows him to pop off, kind of like yay on Optic with the whole team supporting his Chamber.
INSTEAD, they built a team with a mid IGL (IMO they need a crazy good IGL for the team to work such as FNS), 2 "imports" (not exactly imports but not NA) and another great duelist player.
Not saying zekken isn't a good flex/initaitor or pancada isn't a good sentinel player but they could've built a much better team that would've had immediate impact compared to a team that has to grow into their new roles along with learning a new language for pancada.
I would guess the team will be top 3 in Americas with time but I'm not sure if Sentinels as an ORG are willing to sacrifice all that time to build a team that will not pull off the results for quite a while.
fnatic lost their best map for their second best map, not ideal but not the worst
cant remember sentinels run at champs, where did they finish again?
727/1000
Dont play enough, like watching more than playing
https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/druid%23cohnr/overview
cant discredit BBL's improvement, they look much better than even earlier on in the week
trent is the same level as verno and eeiu (I would consider them the 3 best sovas in tier 2)
tier 1 tho
shao, trexx, crashies, sacy, zest (who is massively underrated), cloud etc.
kinda fucked with how much talent comes from the region in terms of fps games
Is there anyone that genuinely doesn't want spray patterns in the game?
Thanks man. I am 19 and my social skills are awful due to pretty severe anxiety. I've been working on it for a couple of years and honestly I think taking a few months to collect myself and understand myself would be better because I would've depended on my so called friends a lot. Your words mean a lot to me
VLR is definitely not the place to say this but it is the only forum I use so fuck it.
Always had trouble making friends and spent the first decade of my life without any. I feel like I am a bit of an odd person and I am not able to hold conversations so I set it down to that. Finally got friends and felt I fit in. Recently though, I've realized they really do not give a fuck about me. They don't invite me anywhere. They don't talk to me unless I talk to them. They don't listen to me when I speak. These are people I grew up with and went to school with, but as soon as school ended for me and I went on my own way, they don't care. They make no effort to talk to me or reach out to me in any way.
With all of that, I realized I am genuinely more happy when I am alone. If people will treat me like that, it is better to be alone than have "friends" who want nothing to do with me.
Seems much more prominent in NA from what I've seen
So fucked, especially with the talent on the rosters of LPB, Apeks, Fokus and HSDIRR
If soulcas was consistent, he would fit into the team. Sadly, he is the most hit or miss player I have seen other than Tenz in CSGO
Can't understand why Sen signed a second duelist player rather than building around Tenz, zekken will be wasted talent on Sen
Phoenix: Wall can be cast through walls
Chamber: Delete from the game
Raze: Boombot changed to 7/8 seconds
Cypher: When entering the cage, enemies are slowed
Brimstone: Bring back the second stim pack
He didn't complain, all he said was it's his first time experiencing it
All he did was mention it, didn't say anything about it being exclusive to brazil
We're just saying we want to kill him, hilarious and normal joke
It isn't about paying for bills, it's respect. If you lose to a team in a grand final after a super close game, you don't just leave. Show respect, not hard
LOUD probably have smth cooking for fracture if they let it pass
strong counter strats pretty much always kill off meta, kinda why they are off meta in the first place
You took the one clip of him joking about the crowd over multiple times he's complimented the crowd
NRG looked better against top teams and fumbled sometimes to lower teams (played to their opponents level pretty much)
Na'Vi looked super impressive against all teams they played before but maybe they're not as good against top teams like Fnatic/Loud/DRX, could be an issue with preparation or maybe Fnatic anti-strats are just that strong
the return of melon brain :)
fit1nho either drops 30 looking like a top tier talent or has the aim of a goldfish struggling to drop 10
It's always great to see the support of a home crowd but one thing I hate is when the crowd try to give away information like if someone has a timing or position no-one would expect and the crowd tries to cheer the team/player about it. Otherwise, I actually really like home crowd bias, adds to the hype of an event.
Hopefully their is at least some of their energy for the Fnatic vs NaVi game as well.
because all the russian players have been out there on the front lines and its all their fault!
vlr sees zekken have 1 bad game and say that hes been shit for years LMAO
I've a feeling they would rather play under a shitty ORG than split up with the synergy they all have together, so if I was to guess they'll end up staying together for a good while at least
They probably do still hold onto the roster but with pretty much all the staff being released, its the beginning of the end for the ORG so they're going to want to sell off their current rosters, I would imagine, Could be wrong though, I am not really sure.
Will the team split and talent be picked up into T1 teams, which players would be left behind in T2 and which would move on into T1?
What about being picked up by ORGs that haven't entered Valorant yet such as Astralis?
Not really sure and want to see what people say about it
liquid missing so many easy shots + team secret looking like what we expected from paper rex
pretty much all russian players have moved out of russia, if visas were an issue you wouldn't be seeing them at lock//in
