I believe ValorLeaks does work with Riot and gets a lot of publicity to upcoming changes, images such as the map changes couldn't have been datamined (I dont think?) and they were the exact same as the official Riot ones

That has always been the case but this would just make it 5x worse.
Also for fighting games, one of the biggest regions in the world is Pakistan. If Saudi Arabia becomes the "hub", many of these players would either stop going to nationals to fund the Saudi Arabia trip or not have enough money to go at all. With the way it currently works it is better, it is not good and the rich do have it easier but there are still chances the way it is now and I do not want it to change to a "hub".
One of the biggest problems to me, specifically for fighting games but also applies to many genres, is the absurd amounts of money. Smaller scenes are going to see a fall off in the number attending as people will need to save money to go to Saudi Arabia every year for their chance to win big. If it continues, it will fully kill the smaller scenes and new talent will be much, much harder to find. People are going to have to become known through online and that is nowhere near the same consistency as in person at smaller events. A lot of people who are poorer will simply not be able to go to these events in Saudi Arabia without sponsors and local tourneys won't exist.
TO's are also going to be massively impacted by this, many of them will simply have to change job because they won't be getting the same numbers of entries which means less sponsors which means no money to run the event. Video games should not have a "hub" for esports. Video games are world-wide and cannot be condensed into a smaller area without the need for lots of money on both the country, which yes they are willing to invest but also the competitors. I really hope this shit stops because it will hurt the general population of many big titles' esports players, so many people won't be able to compete that should get the chance to compete. Esports will become a "between the richer people, who is the best?", rather than simply who is the best.
vitality definitely better than liquid, giants and liquid on the same level imo
make it to 2024
he was the best IGL in EMEA before + he is insanely clutch for fnatic
I seen somewhere he was going to Vitality but who is leaving Vitality for him? I don't really wanna see Kicks be pushed to 6th man but he probably won't be taking raze
AMERICAS / LEV & NRG
EMEA / FNC & VIT (maybe Giants here)
APAC / PRX & T1
CN / EDG & FPX
Not sure if it recency bias but Frieren is genuinely incredibly well written
Summertime Render
Made in Abyss
Heavenly Delusion
The Promised Neverland (ONLY SEASON 1, THE REST IS SHIT)
yeah just shows how good saadhak's leadership skills are
for boaster he seems pretty momentum based, if he ever loses a bo3 or a bo5 they always look worse next game
johnqt and saadhak my favourite players from NA
it sucks for those 4 though because likely wouldve left EG without contract jail and they wouldve been treated much, much better
Are potter, c0m, jawgemo and screwface staying? If they are, I would argue the team could still be very strong if they pick up the right players
sick roster, if they can get around IGL issues then easily best NA team
no problem, just remember it isnt a sprint, its a marathon. It could take a very long time before understanding even 50% of the sentences but it is incredibly rewarding when you can. Good luck bro
learn basic grammar then start immersing, aim for 2 hours a day of immersion if you really want to improve quickly. playing games in your target language always helps and listening to podcasts, watching youtube videos, movies in target language etc.
I play insane when drunk and play like ninja when im hungover
sparkling water if that counts (especially out of sodastream)
MIGHT be a good IGL, there is no point taking the risk of someone who was one of the best in their role and pushing the into IGL. It is proven that every new IGL from another role will take a hit to their level of play and that is something you don't want to risk if it isn't guaranteed they will be good
not sure if it is still a thing, but derke used to call on defense for fnatic on some maps back in 2022 and he would not make a good IGL full time
started watching it a few days ago, can confirm it is incredible
ritual music
vlr always gotta be rude about other countries
traditional music from countries such as ireland and china is much, much better than american music
both countries that are great to visit and look great at a glace but when you have to work and live there it changes
sweden need to be held accountable for making surströmming, they dont make the list
mini retired to focus on content and coach potatoes
tbf EG worked because they had a bit of everything, without Demon1 they would not have been as good, without ethan they would not have been as good, etc.
crashies didnt IGL in any of those the fuck you smoking?
Bro Crashies is already a better igl than kiNgg and johnqt
lemme get what youre smoking
I said NaVi look better, didnt say ardiis is better than cNed. Most likely due to communication but I also do think ardiis is better and more flexible in general
just hope redgar fits in well, rhyme was starting to get good at igling and the team started to look competitive so hopefully redgar can continue that
Vitality look good, NaVi look better than last year with ardiis back, Liquid have a lot of potential if keiko can shake off nerves in big matches, FUT look worse for now but also have, on paper, upgraded their roster so I have hope and KC are building a long term roster
keiko has kinda always been a more nervous player from what I remember in Apeks last year, didnt really show up in big matches but played out of his mind most of the season. Hope he finds his groove in TL bcz if he is this team is dangerous imo
PRX changing players every match shows they didnt take it too serious, no new strats or anything
a lot of sideshows complaints were fixed honestly, props to sen management and props to tenz, looking much better
In other regions everyone is used to it, everybody speaks different languages and its part of playing the game both in ranked and in teams. In NA however, everyone speaks English and theyre not used to talking to people who dont. I dont think its a coincidence they bring in someone with better communication and immediately play much better because on paper Sentinels should be doing worse
cant pick up a player better than sacy + his english is fine so no communication errors due to that
