there definitely is a chance that talent runs dry but at the same time young talent each year is getting better and proving itself in franchising, look at start of year KC, Karon on Gen.G, TH roster. Orgs are going to start taking punts at the younger players and hoping for crazy results in that way and I feel like that will be pretty good for the scene, especially when more teams are actually added to franchising and more slots are opened up on those weaker teams

its definitely rare but seemingly ok people can just snap and ruin the look of their brand along with anyone associated with them, look at twitter and what it did to tesla stocks

i think its mostly that riot want full control of the brand they make to make sure they can continue to have sponsors, if a TO fucks up and it becomes a big story, sponsors wont want to be involved with valorant anymore

at the end of the day, riot is a business

they need to care about franchising and really the only reason to run esports is for money, otherwise it does nothing but burn the pockets of the people in the company

they do put money into tier 2, although I do agree it isnt enough and they should look to slim down the amount of leagues across EMEA and Pacific, and also promote it more on social media, but at the end of the day theyre a business and they have to think about their way to make money and tier 2 isnt the way theyre going to make that money

if you actually watched the games, you could see keiko and nats were the only people actually shooting back this year, nats picked up igl and still kept super good, just because he isnt winning events doesnt mean that hes bad now

you can hit radiant with 60hz but 144hz just feels more enjoyable to use plus 144hz monitors arent as expensive as they used to be

my only issue with baldurs gate 3 is the length, i dont really like games that are too long because i know ill get bored

even when i played nier replicant, i got all 5 endings in 2ish weeks because i knew if i stopped at one of the endings i wouldnt come back andi cant really do that with a game as big as baldurs gate 3

you can get pretty much all of them for pretty cheap so ill get them and see how i like bioshock first i think

I like games focused on world building and story, can play any genre really as long as its somewhat engaging and isnt a rockstar game

favourite games off the top of my head are: NieR Replicant, Disco Elysium, LoZ: Wind Waker, Final Fantasy X (only played 7 and 10, i have 9 but only played 2 hours a couple years ago) and Hollow Knight

they still have alfa, leo, chron who are all world class in their role (idk how alfa will be on an oping role though if me moves to duelist)

one problem i can see now is some inconsistency because derke was really what seemed like the glue in fnatic, he did a lot of calling and generally stayed consistently strong as a player

just built a new pc back around the middle of august and, other than some issues with my ram working outside the case but not inside, wasnt too bad and much less scary that i expected
