EDG became a high level team through international experiences. How many events and high level teams have they played against? A ton of them. The other Chinese teams simply do not have as many reps as EDG do. Trace for example, a team with potential but flopped on the international stage because they were completely outclassed by DRX and G2. They're not playing or scrimming against teams like those in China. Trace were undefeated on Lotus regionally but looked like amateurs playing it at an international.

FUT are regional farmers but struggle on an international stage (they might do better this time around with xeus). Liquid look worse now and weren't going to win a trophy with kamyk or not. I think Vitality and FNC are the regions only chances but you can't rely on Crashies having life games. There's no way he's going to keep that level of consistency.

Honestly shocked that Governor got another team when there's a lot of talent in EMEA t2, I'm guessing he has connections with someone from Apeks? I know vlr has been pretty split on him but he's been inconsistent throughout his time t1 and that's just a fact.
As for Flor, I really think she needed to go to t2 NA before going to t1. Even on Ascent she looked lost. She's obv great mechanically but lacks the experience/game sense.
