EG is a team composed of players that were tier 2 at best last year and just finished second at an int event. Imagine Sentinels had the coaching/cohesion that this team has. Look at c9 too with two tier 2 players coming in and dominating. NA tier 2 is littered with talent lmfao. IDK which EMEA teams are just adding tier 2 players and becoming dominant, Fnatic added two established top 10 players, a lot easier

there's nothing wrong with the val scene though, tier 2 serves as a feeder for tier 1. Esports does profit at least for riot. The goal for any scene in a certain region would be for infrastructure to support tier 2 to make it profitable, like it is in Korea with PC bangs.
