DRX, G2, TH, XLG
all these teams are the favorites
masters when yoru was relevant lul
ewc is more than masters though, didn’t you know?
What would you imagine they’d play that aren’t Harbor comps?
WE all want a frost vs termi skirmish
who do you have winning? I have a feeling that LEV will surprise now that they finally had enough prac time and an actual identity in the server
toilet bowl matchup
i want GX to win but BBL got it
MIBR has a tier 2 team, gc team and an established fanbase as long as they have aspas
i did not think they would lose bind and split like that, the same two maps they were undefeated on in kickoff
they have great teamwork and fundamentals as well as good individuals
SEN vs EG: https://www.vlr.gg/314640/sentinels-vs-evil-geniuses-champions-tour-2024-americas-stage-1-w3
dark horses:
AMER: LEV, 100T
EMEA: NAVI, TH
APAC: GE, DRX
i understand the idea behind the split comp but i don’t like the roles
in current form probably FURIA because MIBR still had some hiccups on lotus and especially split where they should have closed the map out earlier. But overtime I think both these teams can go toe to toe with each other in playoffs, MIBR is likely to get their revenge
GENG got obliterated by GE and looked bad in kickoff why are they higher than GE? They are no higher than 6th unless they show that they can actually beat NS and it wasn’t just a one time performance
I would put teams like RRQ who are regional merchants over them
something’s neon looked dreadful but i’m willing to give him time and see how he fares against DRX and GE
GENG top 4, NRG top 2 😭😭
cryo is a better fragger and x factor but leaf is a more flexible and smarter player (with his util usage and timings)
both are insane in their own rights so it really depends on what the team needs
i agree but they seem very reluctant to putting him on fade. this map pool isn’t great for sova so i predict they will struggle unless they implement fade
The last time brawk played fade in an official was vs G2 in stage 2
The only other great teams in their group is FURIA and NRG, I would say KRU but I still don’t know what to think of them
I think they’ll show up vs them
tldr: no fade = nrg struggle
Is brawk not playing fade in this map pool, it limits a lot of their flexibility and we’ve seen that during santiago (split, corrode and bind) and now yesterday when they played split vs FURIA where he had to play deadlock and Ethan on Skye. Yes it might impact his individual performance but it’ll be better in the long run for this team if they can implement Fade into their comps.
Currently 4/7 maps in the map pool are heavily favored towards Fade (Lotus, Bind, Fracture and Split), one 50/50 map (Pearl) and two Sova maps (Breeze and Haven). We are even seeing her get play on maps like Haven.
In my opinion, one of the reasons NRG were successful because the map pool at champs heavily leaned towards Sova which made Brawk consistently be a menace in nearly every game they played.
playing breach, otherwise he is fine
you right, i usually watch sliggy whenever i feel like my favorite team is going to get slammed
Neither have them have made internationals in 2+ years
shit i forgot about that thanks for the reminder
if there’s anything china is the best at it’s production
best competition
i watched BLG throw a 5v2 to a marshal and stinger with rifles
comeback is reportedly going to stand in for exit instead of kolosha
looks like it’s gonna take exit a long time to get his visa
GE - win
GEN - win
PRX - win
Playoffs:
Undefeated until they win the stage 1 trophy
London: Make 5-6th
remember the last time NRG played deadlock and lost, we know what happened next
GE has a completely new roster so h2h highkey doesn’t really matter
i like fnatic but this would mean that the vct twitter fans would be humbled so hoping that this happens
they’re making it over full sense, gotta guarantee that 5-6th
