yeah i think that too, part of what made them so good is that they had a ton of success throughout the whole year solely playing double controller, munchkin has only played 2 agents the entire year (viper and kayo) i have no idea how the fuck did they make it work but they did it

THs run is something most teams cough NRG completely overlook, team chemistry. Hell many people are arguing they would’ve won champs with wo0t on duelist and patitek back even tho I don’t agree with that, they played way better vs EDG and was much closer than vs GENG in shanghai.

they have cool ideas but they really overcook the yoru and sova on a lot of maps and it doesn’t help that KC have horrible mid rounding and calls
which teams? as far as i’m aware only t1 and drg are fluke qualifications. geng beat lev, fpx who had a strong showing, fnatic who they were neck n neck with, an overrated 100t, they shut down g2s momentum because they were crawling rounds which is extremely important (also t3xture went nuclear) you can argue that TH had a weak showing in map 4 and map 5 but it just goes to show you how important momentum is in this game. i get that 100t had fraudulent losses (loud and furia) after shanghai but i don’t think they were the wrong team to qualify
i stand by this, looked hot then became hot ass through out the stage, their game vs KOI was super concerning

why do people think edgs win is a fluke
both edg and lev looked horrible in shanghai and made some very needed changes to be a much better team yet no one would care this much if lev won champs
