CLG and GG have been living off of the LCS strictly for years, they were doomed to tap out if the LCS took significant viewership hits. EG on the other hand is actually concerning, they've seen nothing but success since 2019 split between CS, LoL, and Valorant.
Also LoL, one of the only orgs to win a lot with mostly fresh faces straight from NA from what I've seen. Other bigger orgs like G2 go for already established players most of the time, EG did the opposite (probably because they never had the budget to buy big names lol). Even tho theyre a shitty org and thank god they're gone, the shit they've done as just a DOTA org throughout esports is wild.

this is a sad af move honestly, but at least he gets to still play. T1 Academy had no purpose signing him since it goes against the entire philosphy of building world-class players from the ground up, it's likely they did it for the clout and seeing the GOAT Western ADC play in Korean T2 so late into his career is just insulting. Seeing his fall from grace ever since he joined G2 is genuinely sad when he's 1 of the sweetest guys in the scene.
LPL and LCK fans are the most deranged when it comes to losses by far, this is normal bro. If the series went to a Game 5 the flame would be just as bad since they couldn't close it out. The amount of flame Faker and the rest of SKT got from 2019 for getting gatekept by G2 has to be a world record and I'm not even joking, genuinely serious. They literally had the better draft. They gave out Yone for Senna Tahm and it worked on paper, all they had to do was keep the game somewhat equalized until at least 25-30 min so they have their core items to completely control teamfights with their comp (even if they're down like 3-5k gold), but they went back on their strat for stupid ass risky calls that didn't work out (full commit onto Guma for no reason --> lose 5 for 1). They even rolled over and gave up the last baron in hopes that the game can lead into the late somehow. WBG are fucking idiots lol.

DRX heading into that series were 100% not underestimated, they embarrassed the LCK 1st seed that 3-0'd T1 in the summer final, none of it looked like a fluke too they just played insanely good. WBG right now is definitely gonna get underestimated though, their finals run is one of the easiest in Worlds history.

FNC barely made half of what EG made this year in prize winnings. Literally no one in their right mind would prefer to have FNC's year over EG's, if EG made 645k while FNC made 1.24 million then FNC would've had the better year, it's that simple. The org will always go off of instincts looking like clowns in the end, the amount of blind belief that their roster was gonna stick together until AT LEAST 2024 was crazy.
