Me personally, I dont think the gap between t1 and t2 is that big.
Valorant is very new and alot of new concepts are being created.

But also franchising has enforced an artificial barrier between t1 and t2.
Some of the teams in t1 are not "t1" level yet, whereas you have a few "t2" teams that can outperform these rosters right now.

The main issue is just time (a common theme really), new rosters in t1 taking some time to get accustomed to each other. Alot of these strong t2 teams are the ones who have a long standing core.

I dont think heretics should change anything right now. its way too reactionary to chop and change

the likes of vietnam, hk/tw and oce might be stuck outside of t1 (except for a few players on mix teams)

Maybe its due to poor roster construction by franchised teams, but i see the likes of kr/jp/th/id/mysg taking the next few franchise spots.

i feel like that might slowly bleed out the other regions, especially those with low viewership and investments
because the only surge of viewership (for those regions) i could see is if one of those regions break into t1.
