ngl hes not getting a spot in franchising this year. teams wont make changes.
he could hop back on csgo for 6 months for 1 major cycle and come back once this first year of franchising is finished.

the hope is that this really spurs riot to finish some of their promised features.

The only way for a game to "die" is for the developers to kill the game itself.
this could be done via removal of fan favourite features
or lack of updates.
