I agree with you, it can go so many ways. It's two teams from each region. BR will probably have The Union, VK (or Red or 00) and we are well suited. NA will probably have M80, The Guard (or G2 or Oxy). It will be nice to watch. I'm not watching LATAM that much but I hope they are having good T2 teams.
For this year is 1 spot, next year will have another spot then in the third year the team that won the first spot might be out for another team winning Ascension (they might compete for the spot again probably - idk).

Yes, like I said at #13, not saying Giants is bad for them not to struggle but it shouldn't be THAT complicated for a team everyone was expecting to be toe to toe against FNATIC for first place. This start from them is not looking good so far. I hope they improve.
They lost 2-0, now they are struggling against Giants. Don't get me wrong, not saying the Giants are bad or the team they lost is bad, the thing is that NAVI has great names and everybody expected way more, perhaps being toe to toe against FNATIC for first place but it's not looking like it, at least not in this start, that is why I'm asking them to step it up (perhaps stop trolling the comps is a good start).
This game showed more about NAVI than Giants. NAVI didn't convince me at all, they won rounds based on infante mistakes from Giants, if Giants were a little bit better/more organized they could've won this map.
NAVI, you better step it up, it's def not a good show from a team with such great names.

With the older UI, I could concentrate on the game and when I wanted I could just look at the player cards for the info, now I can only see the bright thing on the sides.
This new UI is SO bad, it has so many things that it's kind of harder to concentrate in the game. The colors are weird. You can't actually look at the center and concentrate in the game because the shitty things on the side constantly call your attention.

One of the main reasons Champions is more important than Masters or any other international event is the time the teams had to prepare themselves, evolve, and be better as a team, the quality of the games is way higher.

What do you mean by Pearl has no meta? Since LOUD played Harbor and Viper, A LOT of teams is playing the same comp and the same setups.
Ascent and Pearl. Remember that LOUD is the owner of Ascent, they had their names on the map (literally). 22/2 on the map overall. Last year they created the meta, this year again with Saad putting Viper to game there.

it's not a new engine, source 2 exists since 2014. they evolved and adapted it for cs2 as well, just like they did from dota 1 to 2.
