they split up: gc players are kinda special in the sense that they will show higher performances individually than as a team, so sarah noia and a couple other could probably get into tier2 teams.

That said, gc is a dead league, and upcoming exceptional female players would be way better trying out for collegiate/academy teams.

That said, there is some undeniable variability between the avg AMAB and AFAB players, even though I cant concretely explain that as of yet.
Coupled with the horrible state of t2, GC has become a conundrum, and there is no solution. It all falls on the individuals now.
there used to be much more of a push for integration in time past but now the gc teams haven't shown fruit they're moving away from that, which is understandable.
That said, I wouldnt advise any female player looking to break into t2 to go the gc route.

I'm just not a big fan of how bad gc has failed honestly. A single woman in tier2 would do more for "representation" than all of gc, but all the women who could've achieved this are in gc simply due to better career prospects.
Inversely, any woman who ignores the gc route and isn't exactly exceptional would probably be shunned and told to "just play in gc lol".
