damn

posted about 2 years ago

damn, from scoreline it looks like KC put up a fight but I guess it's one of those games where scoreline doesn't mean much

posted about 2 years ago

How was it? I was busy and couldn't watch.

How did it compare to GENG vs LOUD?

posted about 2 years ago

DRX have prob the worst work/life and outside of MaKo everyone is fine

posted about 2 years ago

outside of maybe top 3/4 EMEA teams it actually looks like FREEMEA

posted about 2 years ago

AND RIGHTFULLY SO EMEA GETTING CLAPPED WTF

posted about 2 years ago

gonna be closer than you think

posted about 2 years ago

format removes the legitimacy of placement

one of fnatic and sen will basically take last place in this tourney due to format, and one of FUT/RRQ will be higher

how does that make sense

imagine if he stayed on T1 until franchising :(

seems like he's a legend in 1.6, a la Solo, Termi, Peri, bail, glow, etc. but on a different level

Not Americas's fault they are so stacked.
100T
C9
NRG
SEN
EG
LOUD
LEV
KRU
FURIA
MiBR

SEN, LEV, 100T are on paper the stronger side of Americas teams bro, not their fault EMEA is too top heavy. Aside from NAVI, FNC, and TL they do not have teams on paper that are as strong as Americas.

am officially a believer in thai teams, not just talon, but also their challenger teams.

i knew mith was a good roster, but after seeing talon i think they'll be a strong region as they have a good scrim partner

k1ng being up there is crazy, he's the only player who lost their series - the rest stomped their opponents

posted about 2 years ago

throw = they are intentionally not winning the game no? like they are intentionally trying to lose
choke = they can win but some kind of mental block is making them make bad decisions

i would assume them intentionally losing a winnable game instead of being unable to close one out is a better sign - it means that they can win, they're just choosing not to

posted about 2 years ago

Allow & Lakia still decent. Lakia was carrying DK in lcq. i heard from some players that allow is p good too when in form

as for ign, idk. lots of pros look at a dictionary and pick cool words cuz they dk english. for me, this was a burner acc so i just thought of a random word and went with it

elma and bail both coaches, i think bail is in the coach slot partially because he speaks Korean, so timeouts would be better

posted about 2 years ago

if ZETA could do it so can these teams. GenG already look to have the discipline and synergy to contain PRX aggression.

posted about 2 years ago

They should get Wenty to replace Secret - if Wenty's problem is teamplay that can be drilled into him.

posted about 2 years ago

chemistry between eKo, TS, and Meteor as they were on TNL together. i personally still believe in him.

posted about 2 years ago

wdym until this day lol, TNL was basically this team and the only reason they didn't qualify for a LAN or LCQ was because they had to meet VS in single elim. Talon almost picked them up and went for a tier 3 ph team instead, so TNL broke up.

posted about 2 years ago

yep, exactly why Bail didn't pick him up for Gen.G. He was really considering it too, said so on his stream.

posted about 2 years ago

eKo was great, wdym? got so much space and was a great entry for Gen.G

posted about 2 years ago

Secret and Meteor did perfectly fine, only fuckup was when he was knife out got timing'd on dish

How much impact does Elmapuddy and Bail have on the team? What are their roles?

What's the strategic reasoning behind no sentinel comps on Pearl?

How confident are you feeling after bringing World Champs to 2 close maps for your first LAN for 3 players?

for LOUD:

How much has the sickness affected the team? Do they think it hampered their ability at all today?

Is Saadhak going to be a flex role for all roles or was the Raze pick a spontaneous decision?

What are their thoughts on the other teams in the tournament?

posted about 2 years ago

we've always had lots of potential and talent. TNL is basically this team without K1ng and Secret - exy and Hate, two really good players.

And they didn't attend Berlin and LCQ because of single elim challengers format.

That, and DRX getting the bye PRX did in both Masters, are my two biggest what ifs in the KR scene

posted about 2 years ago

TS went nuclear last map though

posted about 2 years ago

Hopefully this year we quell the one team region narrative

posted about 2 years ago

after watching TLN vs MiBR and EG vs TH this was the best game all around, super high quality and i'm excited for both these teams

posted about 2 years ago

and people called us a one team region

prob cuz LOUD's worst map used to be fracture? idk. they had good proactive plays but they didn't get enough value from them

posted about 2 years ago

tbf LOUD dont look bad at all too, the new players have been performing and the core is still good. thats why im happy w geng even though they lost. these guys gave a good fight to a champions winning roster core that doesn't look like it downgraded significantly

wtf supernova liking korea?

posted about 2 years ago

if meteor having an off day is this result him having an on day is gonna be scary

he also dunked on aspas with the knives that one time on defense

posted about 2 years ago

the best player on GenG was k1ng tho?

posted about 2 years ago

doesn't matter bro

posted about 2 years ago

doesn't matter, this team has never attended an intl LAN aside from meteor and k1ng, I'm proud of this performance on LOUD's map pick

posted about 2 years ago

considering new team with little exp and how bad Secret looked at Gwangju...come next masters Gen G could be quite good...

posted about 2 years ago

unlucky experience diff tbh

posted about 2 years ago

I figured that much, also LOUD were sick, but damn...
