SEA got nerfed bcs of franchising
PRX literally picked up one of the best tier 2 players EVER
No excuse for Talon after their LOCK//IN run
Only RRQ gets to say that
Without Warbirds your team would not have made it to playoffs.
Gen.G obviously did not look at all like the better team overall this series but holy fuck did they clutch up while TS choked the fuck out of that lead.
Guaranteed 2 East Asia teams at Tokyo and Champs. Also if T1 beats Zeta, guaranteed 2 KR teams at Tokyo and Champs.
The 2nd best APAC team went 3-6 and did not make it to playoffs. The BOOM Esports core barely missed out on playoffs. The only other SEA team to make Top 8 at Champions just lost to the third best KR team today.
We broke the narrative that's been going on since 2021:
Korea is a one-team region
SEA LCQ teams would farm EA LCQ teams
note that I'm not saying EA is noticeably superior to SEA, I just want to firmly laugh in the face of those who said APAC LCQ was a much tougher competition than EA LCQ and lorded over KR/EA.
GodDead and Sylvan willed and dragged GEN.G kicking and fucking screaming to the win.
they took him off smokes so TS could slump fuck me
They should retrial their players like eKo, TS, and even Meteor. GodDead is good, I've rethought my original opinions of him.
If they can somehow snag Lakia it would be an insane upgrade. I love TS but he is ANGE1 without the cracked team or the insane calling.
But above all else they should get another coach/analyst.
He had some odd tweets - like his mathematically proven best play or something that was super arbitrary
GEN.G even if they miraculously win, don't deserve to. They'd get stomped at Tokyo anyway and TS have looked the better team this series.
Hopefully Rito opens up the transfer window before LCQ.
I think this is a TS win actually. GEN.G look clueless.
Yeah, had they won that eco it would have changed everything.
I also am not sure if GEN.G realise how disrespectful TS is of their util.
Ah, well if they beat PRX on it it may be decent. PRX's Split wasn't too shabby when they went against DRX.
Gen.G may have in theory the upper hand as they've played Split exactly once, so no real VOD footage, and I doubt TS really cooked something up specifically against them anyway as I'm not sure Warbirds really thought Split would be the decider. I think TS's Split isn't that good? Not too sure.
It's obviously not exactly a favourable map for either side though.
Only been played once, vs PRX. 13-7 loss. Wasn't super convincing.
HAHA WTF
yo but DRX kinda need xeta's midrounding
They're actually starting to heat up the frying pan.
They've expressly said they've prepped for DRX the entire season. The entire season.
TS literally spent the entire league prepping for DRX and DRX with like a few days of prep beat them. Idk if you can really say DRX had more time to prep.
GENG probably losing to every team in playoffs anyway LMAO
Back when I last grinded in Korea there was no Ascendant. Right now though idk, haven't played enough games lol.
KR server and LATAM server both have Radiant thresholds of 200-ish RR.
I'd probably already be Radiant in Korea if my NA RR carried over π
It's not exactly easy to hit it though, at least when I played. The playerbase was small so even when I was d2/d3 I would be queueing against Radiants lol
I feel like all Asian servers kind of have problems though, after playing NA I feel like the Ranked experience in NA is better than in Asia. I played high immortal Singapore and it was crazy. Hong Kong is pretty wild too. Feels bad man, SG servers used to be decent.
If the curveball was to shoot themselves in the foot it worked.
I mean I also see yours, I was moreso just commenting on what I presumed was your philosophy behind it.
You could argue that those rounds Rb clutched could have led to more wins though, I guess there's also an argument that something had less clutches because he was given less opportunities. Guess there's not gonna be a definitive answer unless someone goes through every single clutch, clutch attempt, and outcome.
In terms of tangible impact surely it's better to have more actual clutches won than to simply have a higher clutch rate though? In general? I guess some adjustments can be made to that school of thought though.
Also it's 30 more rounds, not games.
wha? surely winning more clutches is better than having a higher clutch winrate.
That's like saying a dude who won 1 of 2 clutches is better (at clutching) than a dude who won 13/30
At Harbor Xeta is probably better in Asia as well. And f0rsakeN.
Lenne's first game was a decider match to qualify for Tokyo AND Champs? Holy fuck what was Warbirds cooking?
Yeah, can definitely see he may have been throwing shade at Lenne for being the worst player, but the last line kinda solidifed it for me.
Actually crazy to sub out their best player on the decider map.
true, Marved still gets fired up but MaKo is literally πΏwin or lose
SoulSilver/HeartGold
Platinum
Black and White
Black and White 2
sorry but GEN IV clears
who cares about msi
if winning worlds means that t1 has to get gigastomped at msi i take that 10 times out of 10
bro we have dfm π pacific only got 9 teams
Dude Jremy looks like a fucking 10 year old though bros got the big anime eyes
